If I had to pick one, I'd rather they come in jeans. I don't think either is the end of the world. Ours is non-traditional and laid back enough that I think someone could get away with wearing jeans without any comments or stares...but I know a guest or two that would have daggers in their eyes for any person wearing white to a wedding. They're not mean people, just very etiquette driven when it comes to events

White, at least it would be formal wear! Can always toss a shawl on them to add some color.

Jeans, we are not having an overly formal wedding. It would work in our venue.

I would say jeans. There are dark coloured denims that look really nice. But if someone else wore white I'd be upset.

Jeans. I am going to be the only one in white. So rude if someone shows up in white. Preferably no black either.. this isn't a funeral.

Jeans. Though I don’t think I’d care if someone wore a white dress either. But my FH might lose his mind. Haha

None if guests want to come to a hoe down. If its a country wedding, the its a different case.

I think I'd rather someone show up in jeans... but at the same time, I feel like the bride will stand out regardless, so I don't think a white dress would be too bad either

Jeans. There's only ONE colour that's off the table that day, like c'mon.

Depends if it's semi formal or not. If it's formal then def white dress. My initial answer would be jeans though because you can pair it with a nice top

Jeans, white dress, whatever! I want my guests to be comfortable. I'm not the one who has to wear it

Jeans for sure!! And a few may actually do that. Our wedding isn't necessarily all fancy and stuff.

Definitely jeans but I don't think anyone will look at someone in a white dress and assume they're the bride. I wouldn't stress about it.

Definitely would rather someone show up in jeans. They would just look like the odd man out at my wedding because everyone is dressing formal. If someone wore white, especially another woman, I would be furious.

This one is tough. I wouldn't want someone coming to my formal wedding in jeans looking like a cowboy. So I think I will have to pick a white dress.
