Would you rather... forget your vows or forget the rings?

Vows. We could probably wing it or just ask the JP to feed us one of the standard ones. I know myself and my FH well enough that, if the rings went missing, we would not be able to enough the night as much until they were found. It would bother us.

Before getting engaged, I would say the vows but when FH proposed, I said something embarrassing so I would definitely say the rings. You could always improvise with something else

Haha my parents ended up forgetting their rings but had friends that lent them theirs! So it's not a huge deal if either were to happen for me! Improvisation is key!!

Rings! We actually won't have our rings in the ceremony. We are forging them for each other afterwards. And we are writing our own vows, so I would absolutely hate not to have them!

I feel like I'd rather forget the vows, because I could improvise and still be okay... I feel like my fiancé would say the opposite, and say that he would rather forget the rings. Forgetting your vows could just result in some laughter, and some nervousness... we'll probably both be nervous anyways!

Forget my vows. If I had previously written something, I can probably remember half of it on the spot and if not I'm sure it will make for some spontaneous giggles between the couple and their guests.

Our officiant asked that our vows be done when we have our planning meeting a month before the wedding. She is going to have a copy incase. We’re extra prepared. But forgetting the rings would suck.

I would rather forget the rings. We are writing our vows, and if I forgot what I was promising and could not think of the right words I would be so heartbroken. And it would eat me if there were items I left out of the vows because I forgot them. The rings are materials, and yes they symbolize the marriage; yet the vows mean much more to me
