Would you rather...

Lynnie, on September 18, 2017 at 08:05 Posted in Wedding Tests 0 24

This week we are going to play a little game of Would You Rather... but with wedding scenarios. We'll give you two less than ideal situations, and you tell us which you would rather deal with on your wedding day.

Sooooo...

Would you rather... have unexpected rain on your wedding day, or an unexpected heat wave?

Bring on the cute umbrella pictures!Bring on the cute umbrella pictures!

Rain, it's supposed to be good luck and I don't want to pass out in the heat with my big dress on!

Heat because my ceremony is outside and we would have to move it indoors with not as nice decor and back drop.

I would rather heat. All things are indoors except for pictures.

Actually, I think I’d have to go with heat. Our ceremony is at 11am, and our reception hall has ac. I think we could deal with the heat. The ONLY reason I don’t say rain is because of pictures. I would really like outdoor pictures.

Getting married in January, so and unexpected heat wave would still only be early spring temperatures... I didn't want to get caught on a 30+ degree day, so I'd say unexpected rain. (Even though our Plan A is to expect rain... with hopes of sun or snow).

    Would you rather... 1

Probably rain...even though that would suck. I’m not a fan of the heat.

Unexpected rain! We have our ceremony outdoors but our reception indoors, so we have a backup plan. Plus if it rains on your wedding day it is supposed to be good luck

Definitely rain! It wouldn't be a Raincouver wedding without a little drizzle. Smiley winking

Rain all the way !!! I love the rain (which is a plus) our venue also offers places for us to have our ceremony inside anyways so it wouldn't be a big deal! I hate being hot.... and sweating .... !

Rain. There is an indoor space we can use for the ceremony. Pictures can still occur in the rain (and may be better without the glare of the sun). My fiance will be hot enough on a regular summer day in his suit, so he would probably melt in a heat wave!

I think I'd rather a heat wave! Our venue has an air conditioner so it wouldn't be as bad as standing in the rain for an hour

Tough question. I think I'd rather have rain but I'd have no idea where to do the photos so it's a really hard one for me.

I would rather have the rain. I plan on having an indoor ceremony, and with an unexpected heat wave it could get pretty uncomfortable in our dresses and suits.

I'd rather have unexpected heat wave. We'll only be outside for 30 minutes, then into the air conditioned venue.

I'd rather have rain. Rain you can deal with. Heat is really hard to handle especially outdoors.

I think I would rather have the rain. Heat waves can be so uncomfortable, and when the guests are all dressed up in suits and long gowns, the heat is not very nice!

Rain for sure. If your wedding is outside you would (or should) have a plan for rain but there's not much you can do about heat and having all those guys in suits sweating would be awful!

If it is unexpected, then a heat wave for me. I was expecting rain and so we were prepared with back up plans. But if the rain randomly shows up and you aren't expecting it, it will potentially ruin your plans for photos, for the ceremony, etc and you might not have a back up plan and you could get stressed out.
