Workout plans & getting "wedding ready"!!

With everything that is going on, i'm sure some of us have made some changes regarding healthy or non healthy habits lol (GUILTY of the non healthy!) ... I've been doing my fair share of supporting local businesses and find myself ordering food much more often than before.

My wedding is in December and my plan was to go to the gym and lose some of that extra weight i've been carrying around for awhile now but that dream is out the window .. what's everyone's GO-TO workout at home or what are some healthy habits you can share?

    I absolutely LOVE the channel MadFit on YouTube. I usually cannot stick to a workout regiment, but I have consistently doing these videos every day for the past 2 months! She has so many different workouts for all levels. I also have an Apple Watch which has been a HUGE help for me to stay motivated!
    As for healthy habits with eating, I’m a creature of habit so I choose a healthy breakfast and lunch each week to stick to and I don’t buy junky snack foods, I stick to fruit for my snacks.

    I XO a combo of zumba and weights, but the most important thing is diet. Working out alone wont give you the results you want in terms of looking lean and fit! Also drink a ton of water and try to get in at least 40g of fibre from whole foods (fruit, veg and complex carbs) to keep you full and cut down on bloating. Bear in mind you will feel bloated at first with the water and fibre but it passes quickly!

    I started biking and together we do some hiking as well. we bring music and go for hours on end its been fun plus we can keep distance from people and we get out of the house

    Highly recommend blogilates, which is free Pilates on YouTube. Also, Jillian Michaels app has free 7 minute workouts posted every day.

    Cutting out carbs is what I need to do .. i struggle sometimes because they are so good lol. it's officially 7 months tomorrow until my wedding so the count down is on and I'm hoping this is all the motivation I need.

    My FH and I started running 3 to 5 days a week! My favorite online workout site is TheWKout.com . I have followed the trainer off and on for years and when doing her workouts regularly have always seen the best results.

    First, what works for some people doesn't work for everyone so don't feel bad if you aren't seeing results as easily as you hoped! And make sure you are still eating enough. I found when I started tracking calories I would just not eat and that is not a healthy way to lose weight.


    When this first started we were going for a walk together almost every day, which was really good to get us out of the house and get moving! Over the last couple weeks the weather wasn't as great so we got lazy, but even something simple like walking can make a difference!
    I'm also missing my regular yoga classes, but there's some great ones on YouTube!

    @GymSharkWomen on Instagram has been posting great at-home workouts and a lot of them are equipment-free. I was really on a schedule about going to the gym before all this happened but have struggled to keep it up regularly lately. These workouts are the only ones that I've been motivated to do.

    I love blogilates on YouTube! She has a lot of different videos to work different body parts and different difficulties.


    I also go a fit bit that reminds me to move and can track my food/water intake if I want.

    There is a lot of good yoga and workout apps that are free on the App Store! I’ve downloaded a bunch.

    We have been working out each night after work, not long workouts but it's something Smiley smile. We recently got a chromecast so we search youtube videos and do those. Our gym has also released some videos for people to use on there. We alternate who picks each night. We do legs, arms, yoga or pilates, sometimes we do our own workouts in the backyard or we do taekwondo since we cant go to our club currently.


    As for eating we try to eat relatively healthy except on weekends where we treat ourselves. My fiance likes beer and I like sweet treats so that's when we have those 😅.

    I’ve been doing a lot of salads, fresh fruits, soups. I’ve cut out most carbs (no pasta, bread, rice). I do sit ups/pushups and run up and down the stairs a few times Smiley smile
