Wine on Tables - Alternatives

Marcy, on February 10, 2020 at 23:27 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7
Hey ladies, FH and I are looking for suggestions on alternatives to placing wine on reception tables. We’ve tossed around the idea of flavoured ice tea or sparkling apple juice instead. What are your alternative ideas?

    Kombucha, if you like it.
Our friends have a brewery and make delicious gingerale so thought of that
You could also do juices or a punch

Juices are a nice idea to replace wine.

There is a way to represent wine bottles with fruit flavoured grape juice. It gives the same colour as red wine and apple juice as white wine. Labels to make it special with your names and date can be a nice touch.

I like the sparkling apple juice idea.

You could also just to regular pitchers of juice at the table for people who don't want any alcohol

I like the idea of a sparkling apple juice on the table instead of wine. It's always a good idea to at least have a non alcoholic option, even if you know your guests will be drinking.

Another option is to have a beverage station with a few options like water, iced tea, lemonade all in one place, so that you don't need to keep smaller table vessels filled. That way people have a choice and staff can refill one station instead of multiple tables which might make it a bit cheaper.
