    I think we'll just plan to go out for dinner with our family. When is it too late to host or plan an engagement party?

    We skipped this... we decided it was a not needed event on our list.. we thought we would rather have a buck and doe instead and celebrate that way and raise money at the same time

    That's a great idea Tiffany! Smiley smile I think it's so important for the bridal party to get to know each other. That way, everyone will have so much more fun at all your other events! How many bridesmaids and groomsmen will you have? Stephanielarson just started this discussion about proposing to her wedding party. Will you be my bridesmaid? How do you like the idea?     I would like to have an engagement party, but it's not necessary. My fiance feels the same way too. We are planning to invite our bridal party out for dinner next month so everyone will get to know each other and we will kind of celebrate there Smiley tongue

    If my bridal party decides to surprise us with an engagement party... i won't mind though ;P

    We didn't have one and wont be as my mom would have hosted it at her house but we had a falling out so we don't really talk!
