Will you have a champagne toast?

Joey, on September 8, 2018 at 14:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 12

At your reception, will your guests be toasting you with champagne? Prosecco? Or whatever drink is in their glass?

What will YOU be toasting with?

Raise a glass (or a can!)Will you have a champagne toast? 1

No special toast, champagne or otherwise. If we raise a glass, it will be whatever is in front of them.

We won't be serving champagne, whatever drink the guests will have in their hand. But the bridal party will toast with whiskey shots Smiley smile

We are not serving champagne, and the wine is being going to be served by servers, it's cheaper for us than just leaving bottles out. As for toasts, if we have any it will be what ever is in their hands. We are still up in the air about having speeches, both the FH and I are not good at speaking in public.

Our guests shall toast with whatever is in their cup or can! I myself don't like champagne so why have others suffer through it when I won't be? TEQUILA AND BEER FOR EVERYONE!

Speeches will be spaced throughout dinner so they can toast with whatever drink they have. I am leaning towards a welcome glass of champagne (or non alcoholic sparkling punch) as guests arrive for cocktail hour. We are having an open bar but i like the idea of having a special welcome drink for everyone.

We’re having a brunch reception so guests will be encouraged to toast with mimosas or whatever drink they have available.

Our venue come with "toasting champagne" I'm actually not 100% sure what that means? I'm assuming everyone gets ONE glass of champagne for toasts?

I don't think anyone actually toasted us. We had a few people give speeches, but I don't remember a toast. At any rate, it would've been with whatever was in their glass!

No toast for us! We're opting for a specialty drink station during cocktail hour. I plan to have Moscato in my glass at my wedding Smiley smile

Whatever drink is in their glass! Our venue charges $30/ bottle for the sparkling wine. (Which I can buy at a liquor store for $15) I just can’t justify that for the sake of a toast when I’d need like 14 bottles!
