why the veil??

I was wondering whats the story behind the veil? do i really have to wear one? is it something you wear just during the ceremony? i cant imagine people wear veils when having dinner so whats it for??? why the veil????

No such thing as silly questions I guess it's normal to wonder if you want to wear one or not since most weddings used to wear one.

Hahaha alrigth it might have been a silly question, i guess i felt too lazy to wear one and was wondering the purpose... but yea, i was feeling bad to not follow the tradition... and the colour veils i really don't like the idea.

I agree with Sharon, I think it's up to you to see if you want to wear a veil or not.

I think it's a question of whther you want to wear one or not. If you don't like the idea you don't have to wear it. I think it's more like a traditional thing but it's not mandatory. And I imagine brides wear it only during the ceremony.
