Why can't guests change their attandence status?

In lieu of COVID 19 I have had to postpone my wedding until next year. I'm thankful that I can change the date on this website and still utilize it for planning purposes but our new date may not work out for everyone who already confirmed for THIS year. It doesn't look like they have the ability to log on and change it. Or am I missing something? I know that I can manually do it myself but it would be a lot easier if they could manage that themselves.

    Hi Amanda, we know this is a very stressful and uncertain time and are so sorry your wedding has been affected! Our system does not currently allow guests to update their own RSVP, but I'm happy to share this feedback with our Development Team. If you would like to reset your guest's attendance, you can reset multiple guests with the steps below:

    - Login to your WeddingWire account at https://www.weddingwire.ca

    - Hover your cursor over 'Planning Tools' and click 'Guest List' from the drop down options

    - Click into the wedding event you would like to edit, ie 'Reception'

    - Click the 'Attendance' tab at the top of the screen

    - Select your guests by clicking the box next to 'Select All'

    - Click 'Attendance' from the pop up options

    - Select 'Pending' and click the blue 'Update' button
