I'm having my uncle too as my parents are gone. hes beyond excited for it!

This is a second wedding for me. I was going to have my 17 hear old son walk me down but my dad kept asking who was going to walk me down (he did walk me down the first time 19 years ago). I could tell he really wanted to. So my son got demoted to usher and my 81 year old father will be walking me down. Or it could be me walking him down who knows lol. I do feel blessed to have him here to walk me a down a second time.

Both my parents passed away, so my uncle will be walking me. He has been a father figure since I was about 10.

I will be asking my bio dad! I'm his only child so will be amazing to have him walk me down the aisle.

I also will be asking my stepdad as he basically raised me (my mum, stepdad brother & I moved to australia when I was 6)

I just haven't decided whether I will have them both walk me all the way or change halfway through

I have not asked him yet but I will be asking my dad, we thankfully have a great relationship and I would be honoured to have him.

My uncle is walking me down the aisle. My bio mom died when I was a kid (and this is her brother) and my grandpa that raised me (I called him dad) passed away in 2007. My uncle has been like a parent to me most of my life. so I think its very fitting. and he is BEYOND excited for it. I even asked his daughters who aren't married if its ok if I take him first. and they were so happy too.

My dad and I have a VERY strained relationship, it'll be my mom walking me down.

My dad will be walking me down the aisle and I am having my son come meet me half way and I will walk the rest of the way with both of them. He is not biologically my FH son, but he is the only dad he knows so he will be initially walking out with him.

Unfortunately my dad passed away in 2011 and then my brother was going to walk me down but he passed in 2014. So my mom asked me if she could, she said she'd be honoured to. If not her I'd ask one of my uncle's to ❤

I am being walked by my dad and my mom. I like to keep my ceremony as traditional as i can. Plus I would love to have both my parents n my side on the day of my wedding.

Yes i was saying to have him also walk me down, so the two walking me down. I just personally don't want to include my step dad but feel like i'm going to have to.

Have you thought about asking both to walk you down the aisle? I'm not sure what your relationship with your dad is, but if they are both important to you, it may be worth considering. My good friend had both her dad and step-dad walk her down the aisle. It was very nice to see how mixed families can come together on a special day!

My mum walked me down the aisle. My dad isn't in my life and she and I have a great relationship.

I was going to be going down with my dad, but ive been thinking i might have to ask my step-dad to also walk me down. I don't like him much BUT he has done a lot for my teen years and helping me out financially and considers me his only daughter... so i feel like i have to do that for him...

Both my parents will be walking me down the aisle together (even though they are divorced). They both raised me together and its a big day for both of them... Im the first child of 6 to get married and the only girl...

And my FH will have his mom walk him down the aisle. Would have been both parents as well but his dad passed away 5 years ago.
