Who walks down in what order before the Bride does

Do it however you want NOT in a way you think it “should” be done.

The wedding processional from Crazy Rich Asians is hands down my favourite processional order ever.🥰😍

Here's what I have:

Groom waits at front

Two of the groomsmen (one from his side and one from my side) walk my mom and my step-mom

His mom and his dad

The groomsmen and the bridesmaids

The Man of Honour and the Best Woman

Myself and my father

I fully understand we each have diffeent ways of who walks down, etc. there's just one small problem my fiance' parents are not alive and I have never meet them. I am thinking too let my fiance' walk down the isle with my Mom. I have too met my Dad half way because he has problems walking he's mm in his eighties gotta love him for all that

Really at the end of the day. you can do what you want.

right now i'm thinking

grooms dad and step mom

groom walks my aunt down (shes being my "mom" of things). or I may have my 2 cousins (who are like sisters) walk with her

groom goes back, walks his mom down

groomsmen

ring bearer/junior bridesmaid (so that way ring bearer can see his dad up there)

bridesmaids

me with my uncle

When I did my wedding planning course, this is the order we were taught (I'm pretty sure, sorry it's been a while, haha):

1. Officiant

2. Groomsmen (from side) & Groom

3. Parents of the Groom

4. Mother of the Bride

5. Bridesmaids

6. Bride & Father of the Bride

You can also do an option where it goes:

1. Officiant

2. Groomsmen (from side)

3. Father of the Groom w/Mother of the Bride

4. Groom w/His Mom

5. Bridesmaids

6. Bride & Father of the Bride

You can't really go wrong, just do what makes sense for you!

There is no set way to do it. I’ve seen bridesmaids walk alone, I’ve seen them with groomsmen. We did:

Groom with mom

Groom with mil

Bridesmaids with groomsmen

Ring bearers

Flower girl and sign carrier

Me and my dad

We changed it up a little bit! We did:
1. Groomsmen
2. Groom w/ mom
3. Bridesmaids
4. Bride w/ parents

For the processional, usually the groomsmen walk before the bridesmaids and then the bride.
After the ceremony for the recessional the bridesmaids and groomsmen usually pair up then.

I have been to 2 types of weddings,

1.
groom either alone or with his mom
groomsmen follow
bridesmaids
flower girl/ring bearer if you have them
Bride and parent(s) or bride alone.

2.

mothers
groom

Bridemaids/groomsmen
flowergirl/ring bearer
bride and father.

I feel like you can do whatever you are most comfortable with, nobody will be thrown off by the order if its not what they are used to.

So far, all the weddings I've gone to have followed this sequence:

Groom w/ Mother;

Bridesmaids/Groomsmen;

Flower girl/Ring bearer;

Bride/parents.

I've also heard of groomsmen walking down alone (single file), right after the groom. So that they'd be waiting for the ladies with the groom.
