Who said it? - "Why are chairs so expensive?"

We both did. We're happy with the chairs the venue provides, not looking to spend 700 on 2 chairs that we barely sit in for the night. I'd rather hire a late night vendor

She did she wants everything and then when we get a quote she says so expensive

This would be all him. Not so much on chairs but the overall expenses of planning a wedding. I have been involved with the planning of family and friends weddings so this was not a surprise to me.

My fiance. I went to school for event management and part of our program had a focus on weddings, so I kinda knew what to expect when we first started planning.

This has been my FH for sure. He honestly thought we could plan our wedding sticking to around $5-10 thousand. And it is looking like it will be more like $15-20... he is shocked completely.

But in general this has been his saying of "Why are/is ___ so expensive?" (photography, videography, officiants, halls for socials because they bump up the price a couple hundred once they hear it's for a social, etc.)

He said this (not about chairs though since ours are included with venue) about some wedding stuff (i.e. photography)
