Who paid for your rehearsal dinner?

My Future In Laws are hosting our Rehearsal dinner.

My FH mother is going to pay for the rehearsal dinner.

We plan on doing a bbq at our house so we will pay.

We’re having a family bbq, so my FH and I are footed the very inexpensive bill

We had our rehearsal at the venue and then hosted dinner at local Keg after, bt only wedding party and parents.

We are having a rehearsal dinner at the local Moxie's the night before our wedding. We will all be paying for our meals individually (only parents and wedding party attending). My fiance and I have talked about contributing to each person's bills though (i.e. paying 5-10 bucks off each bill). We figured it makes more sense for people to pay for what they want if anything, as some may just want to have a drink or two, instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a huge catered dinner at our venue or elsewhere. Unfortunately we are paying for our wedding out of our own pockets, we do not come from families with good financial backgrounds. It's mostly to just get everyone together before the big day and to hand out our parents, groomsmen and bridesmaids gifts!

I wanna skip it but FH wants to do it so it will be him I'm sure of we'll go 50/50.

We dont have the money for this, and nobody has offered to pay

. So what to do?...

Still on the fence about having a rehearsal dinner. If we do, it'll be a BBQ at my parents' house probably.

No rehearsal, yet welcome dinner paid by my dad. It was family and wedding party only.

My FH's parents said they want to cover the rehearsal dinner for us.

My mum and uncle hosted and paid for our rehearsal dinner.

We are. Although I won gift certificates to the company we are using so I guess they are paying for part of it!

We will be paying for this. Nothing crazy or fancy. Will be ordering food to my future inlaws place after we go to the venue to walk through th ceremony.

We're paying for this. However, we're keeping it low key at just doing a backyard bbq.

Our venue does our rehearsal a week before on the Friday. Would it be acceptable to have it at a restaurant? I would love to just have a bbq after at my FMIL but I don't want to ask.

We have to do a major adjustment for this. We are paying an additional $150 for our rehearsal at our venue the day before, but we have 21 people with just parents, bridal party and bride/groom (no plus ones, no other siblings, etc)....

So we don't have the budget for a rehearsal dinner, but we will invite the group to go out for dinner after the rehearsal, and everyone will cover themselves.

FH's dad will be paying for the food and maybe a small cash bar.

We've paid for the majority of the wedding ourselves but FFIL and his wife have graciously offered to host our rehearsal dinner at their extremely exclusive country club. We're even sending out formal invitations for it. I think it will be fancier than our wedding but we're thankful to have them offer to take care of it for us. Side note: the food there is so delicious I'm slightly nervous about fitting in my dress the next day lol.

We haven’t actually discussed this yet. I’m assuming we will be as both parents have already given us checks to help pay for the wedding and are letting us spend it how we want so I’m not expecting them to go and pay for another portion on top of that.

We had a local restaurant all prepped and ready to go for our rehearsal dinner (paid for by us), but then my MIL called and was upset she wasn't hosting it. She said it was "tradition", but she never informed us and we are by no means expecting anyone to pay for anything. We, of course, accepted her offer, and cancelled our reservations at the restaurant and had it at her house. It was intimate and lovely!

The rehearsal dinner will be likely covered by my and my FH

I don't know if we're having one, but if we are - I assume it will be us paying for it.

My FH sand I are paying for everything.
For us, anything else is a bonus and unexpected.

We will probably have a BBQ at our venue the night before and just ask that maybe people bring a salad and BYOB.
