We had been close friends for about 6 months, and then about 1 month before we started dating, we texted alllll the time lol, but he was the one who initiated that. but I made the first move in for the kiss!

He is the one who asked me out, so I guess he made the first move there. But at the end of our first date, I was the first one to move in for a kiss. I could tell he wanted to, but he didn't want to overstep so I went for it lol.
