Who is a better gift giver? You or your fiancé(e)?

We're both pretty good at gifts, I think.

Me. I deal with all the gifts for everyone

He buys everything he wants so I would say I am as I have to be more creative in finding something he will like.

I would say him, he always gets me exactly what Ive suggested - although he doesnt give gifts for anniversaries....

I can be a little more creative than he can be, but he always tries to be thoughtful

My engagement ring was my favorite gift ever 💍I'd say for a Guy my FH is pretty good but I usually need to give him some ideas at Christmas. My stocking which is always a surprise is my favorite because of the time he puts into it. I think he wins! I'm a close second tho lol

We're both awful at giving each other gifts lol. We usually just forgo gifts and go on a trip instead.

Me. A million percent me. I get the gifts they don't even know they are getting... oh you mentioned you needed this 6 weeks ago in passing? Bam. Birthday present.

He's also received so many good gifts from me... I joked that he had to propose just to balance the scales... haha.

100% me. I know what to give and what to choose foe the occasion. My taste is what is remembered and tasteful.

My hubby is definitely a better gift giver!

I used to say me.. but he CRUSHED it for our wedding day.

My favourite thing to ask him is to tell me a story. So he made me a scrap book which was a story of our time together.

For our anniversary last year he did get me and engagement ring so that was probably the top gifts, but I also gave him an awesome gift.. a Bulova Watch with a personalized engravement in the back, just like his Nana got his Pepe for their first anniversary.
We don't give gifts often, but when we do mine are always super meaningful and sentimental, his can be too don't get me wrong but he gets more the basics where I to more full out for it.

Well... he got me an engagement ring so he wins ahaha!

When it comes to giving gifts to our family members I am way better (he just likes to give them gift cards. which I don't like as a Christmas gift). when it comes to me, he is an EXCELLENT gift giver. not always sentimental. but always something I like or wanted.

He is so good at this!

I think it depends who it's for:
- If it's for an adult, he's the better gift-giver.
- If it's for a baby/toddler/kid, I'm the better gift-giver.

I’ll say him

I would say I am. Especially if he's down, I'll go and gift him with a butter tart - his favourite or another small token of appreciation. Whereas if I'm feeling down, he'll suggest an adventure or outing to take my mind off it.

My fiancé, he is so thoughtful.

I am. I always pay really close attention and pick up on what he really wants and get it. He waits until the last second and buys whatever.

He definitely is and it is one of my main insecurities in our relationship. The main one, if I'm honest haha

I didn't grow up in a family where gift-giving was a big thing, so it's not something I really ever valued all that much. I've always valued time spent far more than gifts given or received. But he is a big gift-giver and he is incredibly good at it. He always manages to find a really great gift that I either forgot I even wanted or didn't even think of myself. So I get super stressed out every year around Christmas and around his birthday (which is 6 weeks before mine - no fair!) because I desperately want to get him a great gift that will blow him away but I'm never able to come up with anything good

He always reassures me that it doesn't matter and he gets me the gifts he does because he likes to, not because it's an expectation that we outdo ourselves or one another every occasion. I have asked him to tone it down on the gifts though because it does make me feel shitty when I'm not able to reciprocate. After getting me a puppy for Christmas and then an Engagement Ring a few days after my bday (not my bday present - he got me tickets to my fav comedian for my bday) he has promised no big expensive gifts for a while!!

He is- everything he has ever given me has meaning behind it. He has a story with everything and I love when he tells me why he chose something. His cards usually have a beautiful message both from the company who made the card and his own.
I just think “how awesome is this - better get that”. And my cards are usually humorous and have some kind of dirty joke with them lol

He is. Every gift he's given to me was very sweet and thoughtful.

I would say I am. Not just for each other either. Our families Christmas and Birthday gift ideas usually come from me.

He is. For my birthday last year he hand made me a memory box after he caught wind that I was saving little items throughout our relationship It has my name burned into it and his initials on the bottom and it is lined with purple velvet. Meanwhile all I could think of was to get him a coupon book that included things like back scratches, slurpee runs, and "you have to drink tonight" coupons.

I would say that I am a better gift giver as I like to think I spend more time making my gifts and taking the time to make them.
