He will swear that he is. But really I'm the only one who has never gotten a ticket or been pulled over or have gotten in an accident so I mean... it's only facts that I'm obviously the better driver 😏
We have a different style of driving. He's more aggressive and stops closer to cars in front of us. That being said, I trust him implicitly. I don't know if either of us are better.
It depends where we are. He grew up in the GTA and I'm a country bumpkin. So when we go to the city - I trust him behind the wheel. When we are in the country, though, it's me.
We are both good drivers. We both have clean records and no significant incidents in our driving history. He's a bit calmer than me though, so I suppose he would win this competition by a hair simply because he is less liable to get frustrated or stressed out when he is lost or gets turned around, misses an exit, etc.
He is, however, more likely than me to take risks while driving, such as passing when it's gonna be close. So maybe that evens us back out? I'm not overly cautious or anything - I am assertive on the road - but I do not take unnecessary risks.
He is a little too safe of a driver imo and I’m the wild one. He drives for work and I just love driving so I always love being the driver. I’m comfortable in either downtown city driving or country roads. I might have an extensive vocabulary for letting other drivers know how to improve their driving. He just lets everyone pass him
This is an “argument” we have almost daily. Haha. In all honestly, I’d probably have to say him though. I know I’m a good driver, but I also know I’m a little aggressive. He’s more defensive.
My FH. I'm a good driver but get flustered easily in places that I'm not familiar with. And because of this I now have my right arm tanner than my left arm... (always riding shotgun)
