Who did you have to cut from your guest list?

We cut co workers... Except for his boss who has been super good to him over the past 15 years... We also cut friends who have not been to our house since he moved in (we have hosted numerous partys)

We have no kids except our 2 nieces who will be our flower girls. Also we aren't giving out plus ones to anyone besides the wedding party. If we handed out plus ones then the wedding would become HUGE and we just can't afford that! For us there is a lot of family coming. My parents are divorced and both re-married and so we have my mom's side, dad's side, step-dad's side, step-mom's side and then my fiance's mom and dads side. We only have 3 people we are inviting from Mitch's mom side (long story but they are not the best people and even his own mom doesn't want these people at our wedding), I don't know my step-mom's side so we cut them out, and any distant family members will not be invited.

I have cut a few family members and +1's as I felt they wouldn't make our wedding as happy as we'd like it to be!

My side of the guest list has been pretty consistent (aside from my mom adding a few), but after I got FH's side, I found out he had a cousin on the list that he's literally never met (and she's in her 20's, not an infant). So I made him go over his list and take off anyone that he doesn't regularily see/associate with!! Oh and no kids

No kids- that was easy....not the right type of environment for them!

Cousins- they are on a very tentitive list....we are debating those right now.

Co-workers- first ones cut. I am friends with one girl who I am inviting, but I have asked her to keep that very private, as I don't want to hurt others. If we had budget space there are a few I would add, and FH had a few maybes...but we decided no for them!

All in all, our guest list was pretty easy. Our families and closest friends are on there!
