Who are you walking down the aisle with?

My dad passed away in 2013, so I will be asking my older brother to walk me down the aisle. I haven't asked him yet, I'm a little nervous. I know he'll say yes but our dad passing affected all of us very deeply and asking him this is just hard

I walked down the aisle with both my Mom and my Dad. The both had an equal part in molding me into the person I am today so as much as you grow up thinking it's going to be your Dad... Nah, it had to be both of them.

We are walking down together. I didn't really like the idea of my dad walking me down to "give" me away to my husband, so I felt like this is a good compromise. I also really don't like being in the centre of attention and being able to walk down with my fiance will take some of the attention off of me.

We had the vision to have our loved one to walk us down the aisle. Husbands aunt walked him down first followed by me with my mom. It was memorable since it was meaningful to remember forever.

I walked by myself. If anyone was going to walk me down it would have been our kids, but they were MOH and Best Man.

My mom! She was basically a single parent even when my dad was in the picture, and she has seen me through basically EVERYTHING from day 1 so it means the world to me to have her by my side that moment in particular

Just me. Mom passed a couple years ago and dad's not in my life. It's mu choice and my prerogative to enter into this union 100% on our terms, together.

My dad! I asked him if he would and if he wanted to...same for the daddy-daughter dance. I don't want to force anyone to do a bunch of stuff they don't want to, or opposite, if they really have their heart set on something like this, to squash the dream.

I walked down with my dad. My mom got ready with me and the bridal party so I got a moment with her and my dad.

It was also my dad's dream to walk me down and I couldn't deny him that! We did have the officiant take out any "giving away" wording (she asked both my parents and DH's dad if they gave their blessing in our union instead).

My Mom and Dad will be walking me down the aisle. I never imagined my Mom doing so, but made it very clear that it was important to her, so I'm letting her join us.

We aren't having and aisle. He and I will welcome our guests before the ceremony and then walk together to our ceremony spot. No aisle, no giving away!
