I am getting a new wave of excitement going for my white winter wedding. After over a year of planning on Thursday I will be officially at the one year before mark!!
February 20, 2021 we will finally have an anniversary date. Neither one of us remembers the exact day we met or started dating or decided to be in an exclusive relationship, nor do we remember the exact date that we got engaged. So I am looking forward to having an anniversary to celebrate.
We picked our date mostly for the cost savings. We could get so much more bang for our buck. Our venue has three menu plans (that can have a little bit of customizing in each) in the winter months we can have the premium package for the value package price you would get in the summer months.
However, now that I have that as my date I am over the moon with how pretty it will be. A few things I definitely want is my horse and carriage ride in Niagara on the Lake. I can only imagine how amazing those pictures will turn out. The warm cozy blanket, the old fashioned buildings in the background oh my goodness I'm so looking forward to that.
I will be so happy if we can get enough pretty sparkly snow to cover the ground but not enough snow to keep guests home. That is the stresser of a winter wedding. I just keep in mind every time of year has its pros and cons.
All my fellow winter brides what is the most exciting part for you? What is your biggest winter wedding fear? Are you getting married this year or next year or in 2022? Tell me all about your winter wedding and why winter weddings are the best lol.
