I wanted all white peonies, even for my centrepieces but decided against it with the advice of my florist. In the Chinese culture, white flowers are used for funerals, so I decided to have some pastel pink added in to alleviate any backlash that may come from my elders!
Colorful, but the flowers that I really wanted (peonies and lilacs) are not in season. Instead we selected ranunculus and roses and another flower suggested by our florist. It will be darker pinks and plums.
My Mom, FMIL and I just got home from booking our Florist. I am going with all white roses, babys breath & freesia with touches of silver sparkle. My Mom is doing a blush and silver wrist corsage. My 2 MOHs (quick mock up pic included) will have blush Rose's with babys breath & greenery. My 4 Bridesmaids will have blush Rose's with blush Gerber daisies.
Colourful but not too colourful! I'm thinking to get shades of my palette (cream, blush, dark grey and copper) and lots of greenery. I'm also hoping to add 1 red rose right in the middle of the bouquet to represent my hometown county flower. Just not sure how that would look, so its an idea for now!
