    We picked our wedding party 1st, but that because it was easy and we already knew who we were going to ask. I wanted to use the same officiant as my sister but he isn’t available so he referred us to someone he knew closely and it was a perfect match.

    I'm not entirely sure, but I think we asked the officiant first, to make sure he was available. We knew everyone in our wedding party would say yes anyway, as they are all people who are very close to us.
