Where will your engagement ring be during the ceremony?

I will be wearing it

I am going to wear mine on the same finger but on my right hand the day of. After the ceremony and before pictures, I will put it on top of my wedding band.

I will be wearing it on the same finger opposite hand. Then move it back over after the ceremony.

Not quite sure, maybe on my opposite hand? IS there an actual etiquette rule for this?

I think I will wear mine on the other hand during the ceremony.

I might end up switching hands temporarily. It’s apparently quite hard for someone else to put a ring on a finger that already has a ring on

I think it's weird if you don't wear it, so I will be wearing mine as usual.

I want to have mine on as per usual. I love it and want it to be on my ring that day as well.

The engagement was on my pinky finger and always remain there.

I have heard of people putting it on the other hand during the ceremony, I will do that.

I am so lost... I had no idea you wouldn't wear it (or would wear it on the right hand) What is the purpose of not wearing it for the ceremony? Placement? Or sacred-ness of the wedding band itself? I had never considered not wearing my engagement ring for the ceremony

I think i will keep both rings in same box and have both be placed on my had by fiance

One of my bridesmaids held on to it for me during the ceremony! Then I put it right back on after the recessional!

I will wear it in my right hands then put it on after the ceremony. I don't like the look of engagement ring then wedding band. Personally I prefer wedding band then engagement ring.

Mine will be on my finger. My wedding band is designed to sit so it fits my ring so it’s going to go on top of my engagement ring and then I’m going to flip the rings around so the wedding band moves to the bottom just before pictures.
