Where will you take wedding day portraits?

We’re getting married in Vegas, so the photographer is picking us up from the reception and we are doing half our photos in the desert and half on the Strip.

We're going to take them after our first look at our ceremony venue! It's outdoors and in a wooded area

We did getting ready shots with each family 1 hour each and wedding party 10 minutes total.

Couple shots in the evening in our suits outside the reception hall. It was great and petfect for timing when the sun went down.

Our picture will happen during cocktail hour. I'm thinking the locations will be a mix of around the venue and a small town close to the venue. We'll be in the Gatineau Park area, so I'm sure we'll find beautiful spots easily!

We are not doing a first look, we will take most of our pictures at our reception location as it is a historic property and so beautiful.

We're taking separate morning-of pictures, then portraits at the ceremony site, during the cocktail hour.

we will have getting ready photos. my girls and I will be in a hotel room/suite that I have booked and am staying in the night before. the guys are getting ready at the BM's house (which has some beautiful built in cabinets. and crown molding. so great location).

we are doing family photos at our ceremony site (they have an outdoor gazebo/garden. or will be inside if raining).

and then we are going to do photos in the park below. it has some beautiful greenery. and the water. and we want some photos with the Detroit skyline (we are HUGE Detroit sports fans...so its a must...probably with jerseys of some sort).

It all depends on the weather. We are getting married on Burnaby Mountain, and the venue is the same for ceremony and reception. We are doing photos first, as January means dark at 4.30pm, so we are having our ceremony at 4.30, going straight into the reception.

If it's anything other than rain, we will be taking photos out in a park, where there a totem poles, amazing views, and even a playground (we have a funny photo in mind for the groomsmen). If it is raining, we will need to adapt, and go to some of the undercover areas on the University campus.

Our portraits will be done between our ceremony and reception. They’ll mostly be done in the ceremony location, but the venue is the same for both ceremony and reception (hotel).

We plan to have some getting ready photos, then family photos lakeside where we are getting married and then go river, mountain side etc. for more photos of us and the wedding party.

We're on the clock with daylight for ours so we will be getting our photos done on-site. Our venue though has some beautiful backgrounds so there's no worries.

We are going to be taking the getting ready photos at our ceremony venue, but our photos are going to be at a research Center about halfway between our ceremony venue and our reception venue

We will be doing our pictures at our ceremony/reception venue! It’s a golf course in on a mountain so there’s so gorgeous views!

Ummm.. at all three? lol We are getting ready at the venue because it is a resort, and it will be the location for the ceremony and reception as well!

We’ll do “getting ready” pictures at our respective parents homes and then pictures at our reception venue!

We are doing a first look, somewhere close to our ceremony. So most of the wedding party pictures will be done there. Any family pictures will be done during cocktail hour at our venue.

We are planning on using a few select spots in our hotel (they have a lovely curved staircase in a secluded corner along a corridor of windows for our first look), and then doing the rest at an outdoor park in St. Albert that has a beautiful old trestle train bridge.

We'll be doing our's outside in a park near our venue (freezing our buns off I might add, but I really want outside pictures) as well as inside of our venue during cocktail hour.

We took our photos at the indoor Floral Showhouse in Niagara Falls and they are beautiful!

We're doing them during cocktail hour outdoors at our venue (weather permitting) as well as indoors... we're getting married at a pub so plan on doing some fun pics at the bar too.
