Where to find wedding shoes

I am trying to find wedding shoes but am struggling because it’s hard to find anything that can be worn again, is a wide width and doesn’t shout wedding shoe. My family has said that I’m not allowed to have shoes with cork or rope on the bottom. Birkenstocks are a definite no because the FH doesn’t like it as a wedding shoe. Any places that you have found shoes to wear on your day? I’ve looked at Walmart, Payless, DSW, Zappos and Amazon. Any ideas appreciated.

    I don’t because all my ideas have been shot down by family. So I’m almost unsure what to decide on or like.

    Have you tried Rothy's?

    I'm a size 12, and have trouble finding dress affordable dress shoes.

    I'm considering ordering a pair of Mary Jane's from Amazon.

    I'll also be visiting Long Tall Sally for comfortable, but semi casual heels.

    My backup will be a fresh pair of Chuck Taylor's (aka Converse).

    Have you tried Torrid ? They ship across Canada I think, and they have really cute heels and wedges.

    I'm not sure if there is one around you (they have a website you can order from though) but I bought mine at Nordstrom Rack. If you don't know them, it's like a winners for Nordstrom, so they have really nice high quality shoes for crazy low prices. They also do free returns. I'd recommend them!!

    EDIT: Because Nordstrom rack carries a lot of designer/high quality shoes, a lot of them can be bought in wide width.

    Amazon is where I got mine! Price and quality were amazing but they were purple and silver heels so very weeding-y.

    Addition Elle just released their spring shoes online. Some potential options, perhaps.
    I also like Keen for comfortable shoes and they fit my narrow heel, wide forefoot well.
    As much as I appreciate input from family, I also want to be comfortable on my big day...not dreaming of the moment I can ditch my shoes. So I found a pair that are comfy but not super dressy online at dsign step. No one’s really going to see my shoes anyway... lol

    I have but unfortunately right now they are all boots and booties not much of a selection of sandals or wedges.

    Have you looked at plus size clothing stores? Their shoes usually cater to a wider foot. I’d recommend Torrid for a good selection.
