Does anyone have any leads on buying metallic cardstock? I've been looking at paper-garden.ca and am thinking of ordering from there but am just wondering if anyone had somewhere else that worked well for them?

Try staples or Michaels or any of your local craft stores.

Girl I feel you!! The closest michaels for me is an hour away and their website sucks!! Perhaps try Dollartree if you have those in BC? Or maybe Walmart in their craft section? I’ve found quite a few wedding DIY items there that I wasn’t expecting

I've had terrible look at Michael's and I've grabbed a few at staples but I'm on the search for some other colours now that are harder to find. I think I'll just end up ordering from papergarden but I was hoping for something j could maybe see first Smiley smile

I have each of these too Smiley smile on the hunt now for dark purple, light purple, green, and charcoal! Papergarden has some great options so I think I'll end up doing that but I was just hoping for a more local lead where I could see them in person before ordering!

I'll have to take a look for one online and see! Vancouver is 2 ferries and 6 hours away, and nanaimo is 1 ferry and 4 hours away so we cant just "pop in" so I was hoping someone had some leads for me!

Yeah no luck there! I must have caught them on a bad day or something because they had very few cardstock options but theres no Michaels in my town and it's a long trip for me to get to one. And I can't seem to navigate their website! 😂

Yeah I'll take a look for some little stores. I've had no luck at Michaels for it! Vancouver is 2 ferries and 5 hours away from me and nanaimo is 1 ferry and 4 hours away so it's hard to just "pop" over but ill have to do some research on where to go and make a trip to see Smiley smile

I'm not sure if they have it or if you are in the GTA area, but you can try https://www.canadapapers.ca/aboutus.html

Besides Michaels, are there any other crast stores in the city? They may have cardstock and for less if anything. I did find that as an option when taking drives with mt husband to other places in the north part of ontario.

In that case try stationary stores. The paper will be more expensive but they should have lots of paper options for you. Not sure if you have one near you but most larger cities will. And even a few of the smaller towns can sometimes have them.

I would say michaels. I got all of our cardstick from their. You might want to look at staples you never know what they might have as well.

Price doesnt bother me so much since it's for my invitations and other stationary items, but for other things I have nooo problem hitting up Walmart! Amazon has a surprisingly low amount of metallic cardstock which is too bad with prime day coming up next week haha

I'm not sure what prices you're looking at, but I know if I need something crafty, I always look at Amazon first. They dont always have it, but if they do it's usually the least expensive option.
Even the craft sections of stores like Walmart or Superstore could carry metallic paper or posterboard too.

Depending on what the project is you can also try dollar stores (dollarama, dollar tree, ect). Different stores carry different stuff but I’ve found some there before. Or you get creative and look at metallic poster board and trim it down to size.

Can they order more colours? Or, if they have it at another store can they ship it to that one? Sometimes stores are willing to go above and beyond.
