We did. We went with Copper Kettle Catering as they are very flexible on menu choices (they don't stick to the typical wedding menu where you pick one from each category to serve...they have a wide variety of options so you can customize). They also take care of rentals so they are bringing everything that isn't included with the venue.

Thank you so much for all your help. It sounds wonderful. We are planning to go to look at it. It is definitely our top choice. Did you guys just hire your own outside caterer then?

It's a great venue! We are having a lot of fun planning our wedding. And Bob has been so helpful. The cost is $1875 for the ceremony site and the reception site. You can rent just one or the other but I can't remember the cost. I think $600? You also get use of the village for photos and they have an area where you can get ready. The Trillium Gallery (which is the large modern res barn between the parking lot and the actual village) does have air conditioning. It is a ballroom inside the center. The Miller Barn (in the Village, early 1900's barn.) does not have air conditioning. It's pretty dark inside (only 2 windows), so we are hoping it stays pretty cool. If it's really hot we intend to buy an industrial fan for inside the barn. The benches are included in the rental. Dining tables are as well (but not chairs).

I am looking at this for a possible venue. Any info you could pass along about cost approximately? Also was the reception area A/C and were the benches in the picture provided?
I know right?? And just imagine how happy we were when we saw these pics - because we booked before the building or dock was even built!! We booked our venue based off of blue prints so we are so happy with the outcome! (2018 was their first wedding season and now they are all booked for '19 and lots booked for '20!)
Bow Valley Ranche in Calgary! FH and I had brunch here a couple years ago and it just hit us that this would be the place for our future wedding. We didn't even look or consider other venues. The food is outstanding (which was #1 to us) and its just fairy tale and forestry enough to appeal to the inner princess in me. The plan is that Mother Nature will be on our side and we can have a beautiful outdoor fall ceremony and cocktail hour, with reception in the Grand Salon.
This is our venue in Moose Jaw, SK. It's Connor Park Pavillion in Waka mow Valley. The first picture is where we will have our ceremony and the second and third pictures is where we'll have the reception. We plan on putting lots of lights up. I think it'll be very nice when it's all decorated.
It doesn’t look like much now but when it’s all set up it will be perfect. A beautiful little corner of my parents farm where I grew up 😊 such a very special place in my heart!
Our ceremony venue is St. Paul’s Basilica in Toronto and our reception venue is at the Liberty Grand (specifically, the Governor’s Room). We’re very excited! Both venues are our absolute dream venues!

These venues are so awesome and tell a little bit about each of us. I'm so jazzed ya'll are excited. I'm a bit older so when I see these venues it almost makes me wish I was younger and planning a big wedding again!

Oh my goodness! Please don't be embarrassed at all. Each venue will hold a beautiful wedding with memories to last us a lifetime.
My venue is small and by the Rideau river in Ottawa. Nothing special but we love it.
Lions club Peterborough. This is the courtyard if the weather is permitting. Inside is boring but lots of decorations and uplighting will take care of that!
West Coast Wilderness Lodge on the Sunshine Coast of BC. Still trying to decide if I want to have my ceremony on the main sundeck or under the pretty ceiling
