When your future husband proposes and you say yes

My first thought was "finally!!" I did almost cry. I'm sure if he had talked longer I would have!

So happy! Not gonna lie!! Had been waiting for this day!

I was so happy that he was the one who proposed to me. the first and the last. Love him to the moon and back

It came after such a long time together I thought he wasn't being serious, took me a bit to realise it was really happening and then said yes

It was story book.. carriage ride on a one horse open sleigh.. heart in the trees, got out, got down on knee "will you spend the rest of your life with me?" Back to the restaurant, bottle of wine, a rose, a box of chocolates on a candle lit table. Was a good night.

We went out for dinner to celebrate his promotion from a few weeks back. I asked him before dessert if he was going to propose tonight as it seemed like the perfect evening. With a straight face he said, "No not tonight, that would of seemed like a good idea but I just thought we would watch a movie tonight." I agreed. I went to the washroom just before we left and when I came back the waitress had a big smile on her face and said congratulations again on the "promotion". (I did not realize my FH told her that he was going to propose THAT night.)

When we got back to the house he said he wanted to watch a game on his computer and closed the door (this is normal because the games he watches are loud haha) and I said I was going to feed the cats.

He told me to come into the room, and when I did the lights were off, there were lighten candles placed in heart on the floor and he was kneeling with a box in his hand! I slammed the door because I couldn't believe it was happening and he told me to get my butt in here!

I was totally surprised, EVEN though I thought he was going to propose that night. He was really good at not spilling the beans at dinner!

It was Christmas Morning after all the gifts were opened, he came into the Room with a little bag. I knew right away what it was, he didn't have to say anything. I said Yes as soon as I opened the box.

I was exhausted! I was sick and had just finished working nights. I wanted to go straight to bed after work but was so worked up after he proposed that I couldn't sleep a wink. Instead we went for breakfast. When we got home I slept for maybe an hour. It was an exciting but tiring few days

We have been together for 8 years and I had been waiting for it, I even told him that it was going to be difficult to surprise me. Well i ate my words pretty quickly, we were Christmas shopping for his brother and we happened to be walking by the place we first met, and I thought nothing of it. I was frozen and started walking towards a store nearby, and he grabbed my arm and when i turned around he was holding the box. Immediately tears formed in my eyes, was definitely happy and surprised and the cold I was feeling just disappeared

I had no idea... We were back East for vacation and went for a walk on the beach... He called me over to look at some rocks but I said no since I was bare foot... He grabbed my hand and pulled me over to where he was... Then he got down on one knee... Even after he gave me the ring I still didn't really "get it"

We went to the dog park. We play a game with my pup where one walks away and he needs to find that person because he is going blind. So he walked away with Diesel and when I called him to come, he came running with a sock tied around his collar. In the sock was a little Wall-E box. As soon as he opened it I knew what was happening cause his chin started to wobble. I cried like a baby, also forgot to say yes, but he got the point.

I had a feeling it was going to happen two weeks in advance and even though my dad was taking pictures for no apparent reason, in the moment when he got down on one knee my mouth was open and tears formed in my eyes. It was so romantic!

It was so perfect! Despite knowing he was going to propose within a 3 month period, he managed to surprise me which was great!

I didn't believe him haha

It was a shock because I didn't think it would happen

It was amazing! We have been together for 10 years this year so I was so happy It finally happened! Lol.

It was a complete and total shock! I thought he was joking around and told him to get up when he got down on one knee haha. Then he pulled the ring out and I realized it was for real. I started crying hysterically haha.

It was beautiful and thoughtful and very surprising! We had been together a while and I knew I wanted to marry him but had no clue if or when he would propose.

It was amazing! I had wanted it for so long and so I was like finally!! And he put so much thought into it and made it special

It was magical! I had been waiting for the moment for a long time and it was a total surprise
