When you make your first visit to the bridal salon

I was super excited! A little anxious, but mostly excitement!

Haha I went to marble slab and had cotton candy icecream so my lips were blue! I did find my dress but didn't finalize until the next time I went!

I knew I was going to marry him so I actually tried on dresses a while before he proposed lol. So I just had fun with it. And it was super fun when I finally brought my girls and picked out the dress.

I've never visit a bridal salon, I buy my dress online and I love it.

It was over whelming, i don't think i tried on more than 4 or 5 before i chose one though

Omg I hated it it sucked I went to four diff places and the customer service sucked. I ended up getting a dress at a consignment shop and I do love it!! Just the experience sucked

I went to Kleinfeld's Hudson Bay. It was Hayley Paige's trunk show. I thought I wanted a fit and flare style but when I put on the a-line dress I knew it was the one.

I had my mom, aunt, MOH, and her mom because we are really close.

It was definitely magical!

People say Kleinfeld's is overhyped and the consultants are pushy but wasn't the case for me.. but maybe because it was in Canada haha.

I knew what I wanted and the Owner of the Shop got it for me. No Hassel or stress.

I love this episode of Friends! my bridal salon experience was exciting but calm. I had my sister (M.O.H) picking out dresses. She picked out the dress I bought. Without her, I probably would have looked like Pheobe.

I went in to try on dresses for the wedding show I was in and ended up finding the one during this process. The first person to see my dress was my daughter which was very special to me. After the show I went back in with my MOH and had that moment with her. I really trust her judgement when it comes to fashion and knew she would be the most honest with me about my choice.

My first time was for a sample sale, and while this was fun it was very overwhelming and way too fast. Will be going for an actual appointment next month, but i'm nervous and excited. I'm not a shopper so it should be interesting

I was nervous, and dreading it... I don't enjoy shopping and didn't think they would carry dresses in my size... It was so much fun.

I am dreading this. I do wear dresses and I like dresses, I am just really self conscious. My Mom doesn't help either, our tastes are very different, but I also want her to like it. I just have a feeling its going to be a disaster.

I actually visted the bridal shop way before he asked me. I knew was the one and so I wanted to be prepared lol. The first two times I went alone. Then I brought a few gals with me on a one day sale and walked out with the dress of my dreams!!

I didn't want to go at all. I was visiting back home for my birthday a couple months after the engagement and my sister spontaneously booked us an appointment at the bridal salon. I was so nervous and not at all into it. But once I tried on the first dress I was loving it!

I never had to go through this to be honest. bought my dress used.

I went to Davids Bridal in Calgary and they were very pushy and not helpful I described exactly what I wanted and not once did they bring anything close. I went to Embrace Bridal in Airdrie and the second dress they gave was exactly what I wanted.

Haven't started this yet, but unfortunately won't have everyone with me because my bridesmaids are all over the place

I had a great first experience at the bridal salon! I found my dress 5 dresses in and I fell in love with it instantly! So did my entourage!

I felt very overwhelmed when I walked into the bridal salon. It was just walls of white, cream, ivory etc dresses. I didn't know where to start looking or how anything was organized so I just walked around looking at everything in no particular order. My entourage found more dresses than I did for me to try on and once I met with the consultant I felt much better. She made everything very easy and streamlined the process.

I went to a total of 6 stores to find my dress and my veil! I found it at the 3rd store I had went to but I wanted to keep my options open and I was comparing dresses to this one I had tried on and nothing could beat it !

Haven't done this officially yet! Waiting to hash out at the very least the venue!
