When to send out invites?

I'm getting married literally a week before you and am planning to send mine out approximately 4 months before my wedding (April 4th).

We are sending ours out in April. For a July 27th wedding. With RSVP due date of June 15th. we are doing an online RSVP/allergy. Our hall requires our final number one month before. So I wanted to give myself 2 weeks to call stragglers.

Normally I'd say 3 months... but because it's the heart of summer, I'd lean more towards 4 months... like May 1st? Because people make plans to go away during the summer.

Our wedding is January 19th, so I figured no one was going anywhere

Hey girl ! i'm getting married a week before you! we are sending out our official invitations on May 1st and asking for RSVP back by the 1st of July as our wedding is August 3rd.

also! we are mailing our invitations out and then asking for an email response with a RSVP and if they have any allergies etc. so we don't have to worry about not getting the mail back in time or anything like that! hope that helps.

We had a local wedding too and 1/4 of the guests were family from the States. I handed out in January of 2017 way too early and realized that now. 2-3 months seems good since you don't have many anywhere else outside of Canada.

I'm getting married in October so I will be sending out the first batch of invitations at the 6 month mark (around Easter) and the second batch (because I'm sure not all the rsvp's will be yes') around the 4 month mark in June.

90% of our guests will be travelling so we sent ours out end of September for our March wedding. We wanted to give people time to plan.

Getting married May 24 and sending out our invites around chriatmas!!! I hear 4-6 months before is pretty standard! Earlier if more people are out of town?

I'm getting married may 4 and I just sent them out now. I just got engaged 2 weeks ago lol so they were sent out 5.5months. but most of my guests coming are out of town near london on (6hr drive)
