We had the cake cutting along wth the speeches and dances before dinner. We had plates service offered by the venue and served with the dessert chosen. Apart from the cake, assorted pastries were also served as an alternative choice.

We are doing dinner, speeches then cake cutting. If you aren't doing any speeches, I'd do cake cutting about 30 mins after dinner is done.
