When are you going on honeymoon?

Joey, on August 2, 2017 at 15:13 Posted in Honeymoon 0 14

Will you be going on honeymoon right after your wedding? Or will you be waiting a while and going after a few months, or even years? Are you doing both a mini-moon and a honeymoon? What do you feel are the pros and cons of going right away versus delaying?

Travelling for our honeymoon won't happen due to the cost. We will do domestic honeymoon this year in Niagara Falls to enjoy a full weekend.

We are going on a honeymoon right after we get married (probably leaving on the Monday). We will see what we can afford when it comes a bit closer to the wedding and more of our expenses are known. We would like to be able to go away right after our wedding. But, if not, we will take a local honeymoon right away and then go in the fall/winter to an unknown destination. (Fiance is choosing honeymoon location!)

We're thinking of doing a mini-moon during the winter (extended weekend), as I am very restricted with vacation time during the winter. This works out well because we'll be able to save up for the adventure we've always wanted in April/May.

We're leaving the Monday after our wedding - flying out super early. We'll have Sunday to tie up any urgent loose ends, but we both wanted that experience of jetting off for the honeymoon right after the wedding!

We are going to do our honeymoon for our 1 year anniversary. We want to be able to save up the money to go on the honeymoon we have always wanted. We are going to DisneyWorld and I want to upgrade as much as possible aha.

We are getting married in September and we are thinking of taking our honeymoon in November, escape the winter a bit haha. We have also discussed doing another mini honeymoon in the following spring as a 6 month retreat.

We get married in June and won't be going on our honeymoon until likely in November when it gets colder here. However, we did talk about going away immediately afterwards just to get away and be alone for the week following the wedding.

We are getting married this September and we are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon in January. We were originally going to postpone about a year, but we decided to just go for it. I like the appeal of going right away, but my FH went back to college last year to get a second degree and he isn't finished until December. That's actually fine, though, because we have some time to save money for our trip and make sure that we can do everything that we want while we're there Smiley smile

We are probably going to go in the winter and we are getting married in September. We will not be doing a mini-moon as we are paying for most of our wedding. Pro for going right away is that you are all in your post-wedding bubble. Con is that depending on what time of year you get married you may not get the best price.

We get married August 12th, and we are going on our honeymoon the 17th. This will give us a few days to relax at home and we can pack everything after the wedding and then go away for a week and enjoy our time!

We had already spent enough money on our wedding and were sooooooo tired, hehe, so we waited until our 1st anniversary to go on our honeymoon.

As nice as it would be to leave right after the wedding, we wanted to get the best price for our honeymoon. We wanted to go to Turks and Caicos and the best price we found (after months of stalking prices) was December. So we are getting married October 14th and leaving December 3rd for a week.

We're going right away. The next day after our wedding, we're hoping on a flight. I wanted this, as well be on a high from our wedding.
