What's your wedding theme?

Modern and trendy would be the closest way to describe what my wedding "theme" is.

If I only had one word, it would’ve vintage. My best friend (and MOH) describes it as “Anne of Green Gables, not Downton Abbey” vintage. Lol
Relaxed, lace, navy, gold accents, natural autumn splendour...with some vintage keys thrown in as my fiancé proposed by putting a key in my hand (it was attached with a ribbon to the ring he was holding.)

Ours has turned into a romantic garden kind of theme

"Under the Stars", "Celestial", "Galaxy"! Deep rich colours and lots of gold accents and twinkle lights!!

No real set theme. other than formal. a lot of clean/long lines if that makes sense. like for our backdrop. I didn't want swiped draping. I wanted it straight down with some sparkle.

when my FH and I talk about the "feel" of our wedding. our goal is to throw one of the best parties our friends have been to. so that's more out theme than anything. haha

LOOOVVVEEEE the secret garden movie as a kid. I think I watched it every week for months!

Our wedding is a winter wonderland theme as we are getting married during the winter. Our colours will be Tiffany Blue and white, lots of snowflake and frosty elements

I originally wanted to do a celestial theme and set out looking for dresses with star motifs, but I ended up getting something covered in flowers. I feel like it was meant to be though, because my fiance loves gardening and my favourite book (after Harry Potter) when I was a kid was The Secret Garden (anyone else remember that movie?). So we're going with a secret garden theme, flowers everywhere, and key and bird motifs throughout. I want a Victorian feel, but his family is all about the glam, so we will see how it turns out.

Pretty. I just want pretty. White, cream, blush and lavender tones and lighting; I got some gold and mirrored head tables with chrome gold Cartier chairs. Annoyingly tall centrepieces which are a mix of crystal and gold. I just want pretty.

My theme is hard to describe since I feel like it's a combination of themes! There is a tropical/beach vibe with the ceremony, we have some vintage elements (bird cage for cards and my birdcage veil), overall, it is a bright, fun theme I call peacock (since peacocks are a big inspiration to our wedding)!
