Are you going on an adventure somewhere? Sticking with the love and romance theme?.

We're doing a little bit of both!

Going to Greece to explore the Ancient archaeological ruins and then spending a few days in romantic bliss - best of both worlds.

Are you going right after your wedding or waiting a bit?

Croatia! Looking forward to some relaxation in the cities, some hiking and swimming, and exploring Mediterranean islands off the coast. We’ll be taking off a few weeks after the wedding since I’m a teacher and need to finish the school year.

We spent 2 weeks in Bali recently for our honeymoon. It was amazing!!

We did a lot of trekking around and tourist stuff the first week which was fun. The second week we were on the coast at a hotel and it was pretty low key. The best of both worlds I think!

We waited almost 6 months to go on our honeymoon so we could save up and also because my husband's job situation changed.

I am a hardcore Disney fan, and I introduced my fiance to it on our second vacation together. We plan to do a week at Disney, a few days at Universal and follow it with a cruise.

We love the 'childish' aspects of it (rides, junk food, etc), but we also love the adult aspects (drinking around the world at the food and wine festival, monorail pub crawl, world class dining, etc). We are planning on splurging on some special things this trip - Dinner at Victoria and Alberts, high tea at the Grand Floridian, and possibly a fireworks cruise.

Have fun - remember to get your 'Happily Ever After' pin! Also bride and groom Mouse ears!

Feel free to message me if you want any tips! Smiley winking

We are having our official honeymoon on our 1 year anniversary (so in 2020). However, we are going on a 'Mexican adventure' right after our wedding - we aren't considering this our honeymoon, however, as we have about 12 friends coming to spend part/all of the trip with us.

We originally wanted a destination wedding, but I had anxiety over making people pay that much money if they wanted to be at our wedding. So we compromised, and are having our wedding in our home city and following it with a party in Mexico at the Resort we first started dating (officially) at. If people choose to spend the money for a vacation we'll also be at, awesome - I don't feel guilty about that!

When we do take our official honeymoon, we will be spending a week at Disneyworld, three days at Universal studio and then taking either a 7 or 10 day cruise!

We are leaving the day after our wedding. It's not set in stone but we are looking at going away for 15 days. We are planning on splitting our time between 3 counties. He has family in Ireland who had offered for us to stay with them so he's going to show me around for 5 days then I'm going to show him around Portugal (5 days) and Spain (5 days). I have family who wants us to stay with them, which will save us a lot of money. I have family in Italy who is dying for us to visit. I told them we'll see but I don't think we can squeeze Italy in this trip.

We are leaving straight from the wedding to the airport hotel, and heading to Ft Lauderdale to take an 11-night Southern Caribbean cruise. We are so excited... it's my FH's first real vacation, our first vacation away alone together, and his first cruise.

We may book a shore excursion or two, but we really want to just relax, and maybe explore the little islands on our own.

We’re going to Port Townsend, Washington. It’s a cute historical town on the Pacific. We can relax and check out some local businesses, but we’re also planning on going whale watching! And we’re going to a workshop where we can make each other’s wedding bands! It’s going to be glorious ❤️

That’s good to hear! A lot of people have been a bit snarky about it, like Disney is too childish especially since we are so young too... but we’re definitely doing the drink tour!

I got married a month ago, and we are waiting until the summer to go on our honeymoon, so that we could get the time off of work. We are heading to Bora Bora and Moorea for 10 days of relaxing, adventure and beaches! My husband has never been to a resort before so I'm excited for this to be his first experience. We have a few adventures planned (ATV tour, snorkelling) to break up the days a little.

We met living in Europe, so we wanted something different than going there, otherwise we would have gone for a more sight-seeing trip

This is so exciting! I had a friend go to Walt Disney World for their honeymoon a few years ago and raved at how fun it was, especially if you do the Around the World drink tour!

We are doing a cruise! It starts in Australia and goes around New Zeland, then we will spend a few extra days in Auckland. We are getting Married September 2019, but going on our honeymoon in early 2020 (likely February) only because we want to be there for the right weather and there are very few cruises to choose from.

That sounds awesome! We are going to go to Walt Disney World! We’re hoping to leave the Monday after our wedding, but we haven’t booked anything yet so who knows!
