What will your ring bearer carry?

Sinéad, on November 20, 2019 at 09:05 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 11

There is absolutely no disputing how adorable a ring bearer is, but will you entrust this little tyke with your wedding rings?

What will your ring bearer carry down the aisle? Will they carry your wedding bands, holding up a super sweet sign, or do you have your own ideas?

We haven't decided if we are having a ring bearer yet or not, but, if we do, my nephew would be the right age (6-7 years old). He'll either carry a sign with a cute saying or a pillow with fake rings (like dollar store).

The best man is going to hold the rings for us all day!

We have four nephews, but one didn’t want to be involved. We had one carry the rings in a little box. One carried a sign that said “here comes the bride” and one was “ring security” so had an fbi vest, eat piece, and badge.

My nephew was our ring bearer, and I am glad I didn’t have anything for him to carry down the isle. He ended up walking down with my sister (MOH/his mom) and the flower girl. All three of them held hands it was cute

I'm not having a ring bearer or flower girl. Our kids will have outfits that match bridal party (both of them lol)

Our youngest nephew will be our ring bearer, he will be five at the time of the wedding but I still think I'd rather our MOH and Best Man carry the rings.

I think we will give him a sign or something

Our ring bearer carried a stuffed peacock with (fake) wedding bands attached. He's 18 months and we weren't sure if he'd make it down the aisle without any distractions. Our best woman had the real bands lol

No ring bearer - but if we were going to then I for sure would have wanted a ring bear or our dog dressed up in a bear costume.

We're not having a ring bearer. I joked that we could use our cat but my fiance pointed out what an utter disaster that would be!

Our ring bearer will be our dog, and we discussed whether or not we'd trust him with the rings lol. I think we'll be fine as long as he comes after me, he has separation anxiety when he's away from me so he'll come straight to me I'm sure. Even if he doesn't we'll be in an enclosed space so someone can catch him if he gets stage fright. But FH's mom has said that she's going to take a piece from her wedding dress and make a little pouch that we can tie around his collar
