What wedding date did you choose?!

We started dating in June and since we are both teachers the end of June made the most sense for us and we will have all Summer to set up our house

I love summer, so I've always wanted a summer wedding.
We picked June 17 because it's right in the middle of not-too-hot, not-too-cold, pretty reliable weather month for our area. Oh, and also because his birthday is June 20, and we always take that week off from work for staycation.

We chose Sept 21, 2024! We love fall and I sweat easily so summer was out! LOL!

Banff will be beautiful in September with all of the fallish colors! Where in Banff are you getting married?!

I had my heart set on September 2023 before he even proposed. We are getting married September 22, 2023. This is one of the most beautiful months where I live and I am so excited for our outdoor wedding and fall photos.

We wanted October 14th, since our anniversary falls on the 14th, but our venue was booked, and they only had September 30th, so we took it.

We picked October 20/2023 so it wouldn't be too hot or cold for an outdoor ceremony and as a 2nd marriage for both of us- it was nowhere near our previous wedding dates

I totally get the heat part! At the time of our ceremony (330pm) it was 37 degrees but the Okanagan heat is totally different, It's like you don't even notice how hot it is

We chose August 13th! Did not want in the middle of summer with the heat but wanted a summer wedding. It also happened to be on my husbands birthday which I was happy to double celebrate

We chose August 19, 2023 because we didn't want it to be in the dead of the summer but we also didn't want it to be during the beginning of the school year (I'm a teacher).

We choose May 27. Just because it shouldn't be too hot or too cold. But then we were advised by our venue that we had been double booked; computer glitch. Devastated! Since the date had already been booked by the other couple first, I couldnt have another bride shedding tears too. I knew I wanted it in May...FH was dead set against a hot summer month wedding. We decided on May 6, it was the only day that worked in May for us. Too many things happening in May (my birthday 11, enagement date 14, Mother's day wknd, May 2-4 wknd). Now I couldnt be happier on the date we chose. It just fits right 😊
