What was your very first wedding decision?

Wedding party was my first thought! I didn't ask them for about 6 months until we booked our venue, but as soon as we were engaged, I knew who I wanted to ask!!

I had an idea of what i wanted from a long time ago. but i guess the first thing we did was make a rough guest list then went venue shopping

Our first decision I guess was figuring our budget. Once that was set we were able to start things in motion. FH took months longer than me to figure out his BM, my MOH was just never up for debate.

Day after I got engaged I bought my wedding planner book. Then we chose our best man and maid of honour. Then next step was our venue

The venue! We picked it long before wedding plans ever began.

The guest list to make ensuring the numbers to get quotes for venues. This helped to know if the budget would make or break the bank.

First decision before getting engaged: colour scheme (by me on Pinterest lol)

First decision after the engagement: date for our wedding.

The season was first for us - we knew we wanted a fall wedding - but we also worked out a rough guest list around the same time and those were the main factors that influenced what venues we looked into.

Our first decision was the season that we would get married in. I knew that I wanted a winter wedding since I was ten.

We booked our venue before we even got engaged and so we also knew our date before we got engaged.

Our first decision was to establish what was most important to each of us.
It really helped us move forward, if he had wanted a huge wedding it would have changed the venue we picked or if I had wanted to elope we wouldn't have needed as many local vendors. Knowing what we wanted helped eliminate all the stuff we didn't want or need.

First decision was the date. We had been talking colours first, but we felt like certain colours didn't go with certain seasons, so we wanted to pinpoint time of year first.

I knew i wanted my bridesmaids in green even before we were engaged, so i guess the first official decision was that we would get married in June!

I think our first decision was the season - he didn't want winter, I didn't want summer, and then spring doesn't really exist in MB... lol plus the colours are really pretty in Autumn!
