Chiffon or point d'esprit but I ended up with taffeta... The first wedding dress I bought was lace with metallic gold thread... I got it from Sears it was beautiful but unfortunately didn't fit and I didn't like the cut.

I'm very picky about fabric so it was lace all the way! Not a fan of satin as it's not very forgiving. Chiffon is light but not my style.
