What to eat day before wedding ceremony when it is in the evening?

Any suggestion on what I should have while getting ready?

This is a very good question Jamie.
I did not even think about this and can’t even recall. Hahah. I just know my family and bridal party had to tel me so sit down and relax, since I was working on floral to have my fresh bouquets and roses for my decor. Then I cut my finger. Hahah. But anyways, that was besides the point. I believe eat like you do regularly. Make sure you do eat the night before and that you snack the day of while you get ready and stay hydrated! 💧 🥂

I highly suggest eating a normal meal the night before and the day of your wedding, especially if your reception is in the evening. I know nerves can get in the way but you'll need the energy.

Our bridal party was able to order off the restaurant menu of our venue so we had hot sandwich or entree with a side salad. Not only was it nice to just sit and enjoy a meal, but it was light enough that we weren't bloated while keeping us satiated.

If you're unable to make time to have a proper sit down lunch due to your schedule, get something bite sized but nutritious and filling that you can grab and pop in your mouth. Sushi is a great option and most restaurants have non-raw fish options like a teriyaki chicken roll for those not initiated. Veggie sticks with hummus along with some cheese cubes are also great snacks.

We went to Costco and I got breakfast and lunch. I tried to get stuff people could just grab when they weren’t in hair or makeup. For breakfast I got croissants, muffins, and yogurt, and for lunch I got buns, lunch meat, and cheese so people could make sandwiches. I also had chips and veggies available. Make sure to encourage people to eat, it’s easy to forget because it’s kind of hectic but you don’t want to be starving doing your photos or the ceremony!

We’re going to Costco the day before and grabbing cheese and crackers trays, veggie trays, fruit trays! I want the wedding party to help themselves! Make sure everyone eats and drinks water before the party starts! 😉

I'm planning on doing a bagel bar (different bagels and toppings) for breakfast so everyone can eat whenever they want and its quick and easy. I'm not too sure for lunch. I might just have a charcuterie board and some veg/fruit

I would do something small like some fruits and vegetables just something small enough that you don't ruin your appetite for dinner

A light snack or meal is enough to fill your appetite than a full meal. A pit stop or something from home to take is worth enjoying as an apple or healthy chips for the day as your getting ready.
