Hello all Smiley heart

I've read the most common ceremony time is from 1pm-3pm. Curious to know what time are y'all getting married? morning? afternoon? late afternoon? evening?

We had our small celebration ceremony at 5pm, with my husbands kids present. It was very intimate and just us before all of our guests arrived for our evening reception. I liked having it closer to the end of the day as it was outside on a terrace and the sun wasn't blazing and it led right into the evening party. I've never been to one, but something about a late evening ceremony I find so romantic!

Our wedding ceremony is at 4pm at the beginning of September. This time was set by the venue so then right after the ceremony our guests head into cocktail hour and then dinner follows after. We like this plan as then we don't have people waiting and then finding something to do while waiting for dinner if we had an earlier ceremony time.

We are getting married at 2pm. We picked that time so we would have enough room to do pictures and eat our meal for 4:30-5. We have guest and myself who need to eat at certain time due to health reasons

We’re having ours at 4pm, and really have no reason. We both randomly just thought 4 and went with it.

We’re having our ceremony begin at 6:00p.m on a Sunday at the end of August, it will be my 30th birthday. We picked this day to celebrate our marriage as we tied the knot on in May. Hoping for beautiful weather without the melting heat ☺️

Our ceremony time is 2:30 pm, though our invites say 2:00 pm, and is completely arbitrary. I wanted early afternoon because I'm not a morning person and didn't want to wake up and 3:00 am to get ready. What was really important to me was the day.

We are getting married at 3pm, the sun should be slowly setting since we are getting married at the end of September.

Our ceremony time was 4pm so we could have the ceremony then have everyone head to the reception. I remember a conversation we had with our officiant and I told her our ceremony would start on time. She said every bride says that but it's okay if it's like. Our ceremony started at exactly 4pm.

Ours is at 330pm. We are doing an outdoor September wedding so it will be warm outside (hopefully) that time of day. We are also having the ceremony right outside the reception venue, so people can head right inside for the 4pm cocktail hour while we do our photos. We thought any earlier might give people too much time to kill before dinner.

Having ceremony at 2pm, I wanted it at 4 but would have been too late in the evening for the officiant.

Love this! I love how people are finding less traditional ways to celebrate. It should all be about what the couple envisions for themselves Smiley heart

That's good that it gives them time. How far is the ceremony spot to the reception area?

I'm also seeing 4pm is a popular time. I love that it gives less wait time to dinner where most have at 6/7pm!

Ours is at 3:30 pm. Since ours is a destination wedding technically it gives people the time to drive down from Edmonton to Banff in the morning.

4 pm on a Saturday. It’s much cooler than earlier in the day and we’ll also capture some sunset photos.

My ceremony will be starting at 4:30 PM as we are having our wedding out of town and on a Friday. So gives people time to get to the wedding.

Ours was at 4pm. My husband was firm on no early weddings. He felt it would rush our guests who were all driving from out of the city. I think it was more for him LOL
