For us, we will not be using social media at our wedding.

After seeings Sams Snapchat.. I am definatly .. Definatly doing that ... and i guess I will come up with a hashtag for instagram so I can see everyones photos !!!

Thanks! Yeah I think it went well! My friends and sisters use Snapchat so we got some cute snaps from them! My mom uses Snapchat too but I don't know that she had a chance to use the filter because she was busy all night. My groom also sent me a snap before the ceremony and said I love you.

HAHA so freaking cute!!!! I debating doing this but I don't think many of the guests have Snapchat (I know I don't!)... did it go over well with your group?

We created a Snapchat filter for our wedding. It can be expensive if you do it over a large area so we picked a few key locations like the hotel for the ceremony, the restaurant for the reception and a couple places from our scavenger hunt. We listed our hashtags with our scavenger hunt clues. #samncollin #wachterdowntheaisle

People have been posting pics on Instagram and FB. We asked people not to use their phones or cameras during the ceremony but everything else was fair game!

We havn't thought much about it! But likely we will have a hashtag on facebook and instagram! Not sure how to go about it but I will figure it out! :p

I just used a hashtag generator... FH has a great last name to work with, but since I don't know if I'm changing mine I decided to go with something generic

I never considered having to come up with a bloody hashtag.

I did the same thing... only signed up early to put pictures up to "reserve" the hashtag lol. My instagram is currently filled with pictures of my pets.. nothing else

We're the same way... I literally only signed up for Instagram for the wedding. I know most of my friends have it so it just makes things easier on the guests. I was worried that they wouldn't want to download the app (free or not). Though I'm still hoping they'll use the app as well

Has anyone used moments by Facebook? Most of our guests have Facebook and it might be easiest for them.

Very interested in this topic... I don't do social media neither does my FH but since we are not having a photographer we need a place for guests to send photos... I was thinking of using the wedshoot app
