What site are you using for your guests to rsvp?

Beah, on January 27, 2020 at 13:08 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 11

Hi all, I originally wanted to make up little cards that everyone would fill out and mail back as rsvp's, but I soon realized that would become too expensive as I should be the one providing the postage so people would actually respond haha.So I decided to use an online rsvp site, I am stuck between rsvpify & theknot.

I am curious what are you using and what do you love about it?

All I want the website for is stricly for them to easily rsvp I don't want to write a story about how we met or anything else I don't need a registry or anything. So let me know!

I've been looking into With Joy as well and they're my favorite so far.

My one complaint is that a few features are only workable on a computer and not from a mobile device.

I'm using the one here on wedding wire. You can customize the meal options and add a comment section for people to add any allergies. However, it wasn't the most user friendly to customize.

We're using With Joy (same one we are using for our wedding website). Everything is free on it, and it's RSVP system is very user friendly. You can enter people individually, assign them to "groups"/Families, and add any questions into the RSVP (great for song requests and food concerns). I would definitely check it out.

We made our own RSVP on our website that we bought. it was 100 for 3 years for the website and we made an RSVP page a song request page an info page and accommodation page so that way people can always refer to what they need

I built a free website on The Knot and used their RSVP button. Super easy and worked well!

I am planning on using the Wedding Wire website, paying for the premium one so I can customize.

However reading some of the comments and I like the idea of texting / emailing .

We just put on our invitations "Please RSVP to the Bride via email/text/call by ___" and it worked well for us (just in case you don't have a site that you like).

My cousin used Greenvelope for her and husbands RSVP site along with the invitation. WW also has an RSVP which your guests can reply back online by putting the website and names on the invitations.

Our friends did something similar to what you're looking to do via Minted where they sent out physical invites that asked people to RSVP via the Minted website that came with the Invite package. I don't know much about the process, but their invites looked beautiful and the online platform had some perks - you could input your meal choice, and the invite would specify the number of guests invited ( helps avoid the awkward " Is this person invited?").

I sent my Save the Dates via a platform called PaperlessPost. It really helped me track my guestlist and also had the option to request physical addresses I will later use to send my invites.

So I am still going to make up little cards and send with the invites but they will say "Please rsvp either by mail, in person or online at "...." then they have the choice!
