What should the bridal party pay for?

I am paying for their hair and makeup. The dress, shoes, and nails are on them! Also if they are choosing to stay in a hotel the night before that will also be on them!

You are being very generous!! as a bridesmaid many times, I usually have had to pay for my dress, shoes, makeup, nails and hair. Although in my sisters wedding she paid for all the girls hair and make up and nails, including both mom's! We are paying for the girls hair and makeup and nails. (We are doing a destination and the ladies have paid alot for the week to be apart of our special day - and a fantastic vacation away!!!

It is absolutely ok for them to pay for their own nails. Usually the rule of thumb is that if you require something specific (besides the dress), then you should pay for it (ie; if you want their hair done a certain way, or for them to wear a specific accessory, etc). But anything that is optional is their responsibility to pay for.

I think it was amazing of you to pay for outfits, shoes, hair and makeup plus buying a gift. You've already done so much! I don't think they will mind paying for their nails.

I think you are being very generous. Im my friend's wedding we paid for our dresses, hair, makeup, mani/pedi, shoes....the whole works. It does add up to a big commitment, i think it is so kind of you to budget for these things for them!

I think that it is fair! I was just in my best friends wedding, we bought our dresses, hair and makeup and she bought our jewelry and shoes. I think that's totally fair, it all adds up quickly!
