What’s your Save The Date style?

Cliodhna, on January 2, 2020 at 09:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 11

What’s your favourite type of Save The Date? Do you like when they include images of the engaged couple or not? Do you prefer a simple postcard or magnet? Online or mailed? Would you ever do something uncommon like a video?

Let us know your Save The Date style below and feel free to share any inspiration pictures you have! Smiley smile

We did save the date cards with photos of us on them from our engagement shoot. I would've loved to do magnets if we lived closer to families so we didn't have to mail everything.

We arent doing them but my friend did some for her last year as a magnet which was helpful because it could just hang out on our fridge. My cousin had a destination wedding and they made theirs to look like a passport with all the details inside...I guess that was their invitation but it was still a super cute idea!

We didn't do Save the Date personally though I know my cousin and fiancé did for sure. They had the date to scratch with a photo included postcard style.

While printing some of our engagement photos on the Costco website I stumbled upon their save the dates and invites. I only ordered the save the dates because they were super cheap! Ours have an engagement photo on them with our names, the date (of course) and the city. We only ordered about 30 do we will send them to our guests from away to give them a heads up.

We ended up doing postcard type save the dates with an engagement shoot photo. There really are so many options. I had originally really wanted magnet ones but they were quite a bit more expensive to order and to send out to people.

We are not really doing save the dates. We will maybe just do a facebook group for people invited to give a heads up on the date. Most of our closest know about the wedding and we are only having around 100 mostly family.

We did a magnet style! We had a photo from our engagement shoot with our date and names.

I like magnet versus postcard because you can actually keep it alongside your fridge, making it less likely to be lost or thrown out.

I like the look of a post card, with a pic of the couple, and the calender with a heart on the date.

I like save the dates with photos and FH didn't know what save the dates were so we went with save the dates with a photo. Plus we're paying good money for engagement photos, so you better believe they'll be everywhere.

FH and I aren't the type of people to post pictures of ourselves on social media, so definitely not the type to use one on our save the dates. We went with a simple design that I was inspired by on Pinterest and then made it myself, then we emailed them to everyone on our guest list. I was really happy with the way they turned out too! So I ended up designing/making our entire stationery Smiley xd
