Hey lovely fiancés!
Your ring is such a beautiful sign of the love and commitment you share for one another!
He got a ring years before him and I started dating and his mom held on to it for him. He lied and told me he bought it at a store back then but turned out it was his Grandma's ring. I never found out till almost a year later. When he asked for it back and was trying to give it to his new gf after a month of them dating. Yet him and I were together for 3 years and had a daughter together before he gave me the ring.
I had shown him pictures of what I liked, and he knew that I especially loved one of them. He based himself on that ring and had my ring custom made by one of our friend's dad, who is a jeweller. It is so pretty, simple but also different and I love it
He picked a beautiful ring without any direction from me. I had no idea it was coming & was entirely surprised. He made an amazing selection & I absolutely love it!!
He chose a beautiful just over 2 Crt princess cutt for me ❤ he helped design and of course he claims he just had to make my center diamond bigger to bring me to just over 2 Crt! That's my guy tho ... oh and it all had to be Canadian diamonds nothing else would do he said lol
Custom ring made by a local artisan who uses recycled gems and metals as well as ethically sourced gems - it's a 2 carat green sapphire edwardian inspired ring with diamonds around the sapphire and on the band - I absolutely love it and love that he spent 3 months putting it together just for me.
He chose a princess for his princess 1.5 carats and white gold and inspired by Cartier and Tiffany and he proposed with Cinderella glass slipper from Swarovski
Hi! omg I have a twist ring too, its a round shape though. How do you plan on fitting a band to it? I love my ring but realised that it will be hard to get a band that fits unless its cutom made.
Pretty much a lot of them work off commission so the bigger the sale, the bigger their pay cheque haha but I agree I don't like the big gaudy ones simple is always the best way to go
Here is my ring. It's awesome. It's also very much my fiance. He got it at Costco, haha! Their stuff is really nice (even the jeweller at the place we got it re-sized) said they sell quality items. It's a great spot for your guys to look ladies!
Same! Haha. You got the bigger one. I hate how they flaunt the $1000+ ones first.. and then say "oh let's go to the PROMISE rings".. when all an engagement ring is.. is a form of a PROMISE anyway -_-.. but I guess that's their job lol
He says it took him a month. He used james allen the website to personally build the ring himself. He knew i liked simple and its perfect. When i saw the ring in the box my heart stopped
He chose this ring. Its simple but i love it. Its in the process of being resized bc it was a size too big for my finger but i didnt want to resize it bc i wanted to show it off a bit. It's actually a Canadian mined diamond which makes it that much more special
He had a costume jewellery one.. I then noticed that it was making my skin turn. We went to michael hill. The lady was all about showing us $$$$. And I asked if she had something moreally cost effective. And she said "I will take you to the promise rings"... we couldn't decide between two, so my oldest picked
He didn't want to wait any longer but was wanting to custom design the ring with me so he gave me the ruby ring I'd been dying to have to hold the place until we got the official ring The official ring is in the process of being made now
