Are you bustling your wedding dress? What kind of bustle did you end up with? 馃懓

And how many points are there in your bustle? Smiley tongue

YES! I am also not sure what to do with the train!

Luckily I ordered my dress from BHLDN, and there are REVIEWS and I can see how other people have done it. So WIN!

I think the style of bustle really depends on the cut of the dress and the fabric its made of. I'm sure whoever is doing the alterations will be able to help you out and give you an idea of what the end product will look like. My dress is A line and tulle, so I would prefer a bustle with more pickup points so that it just looks like extra pleats, and not like I have a 2nd butt.

Oh! I know the points one..

depending on the fabric/material/etc, there may have to be a different number of points (fasteners) to hold the fabric up. So some will be fine with three fasteners, versus some others might need 8. Your seamstress would be able to give you a better idea of what you need and how it would look.

I think mine was an American bustle. One loop and hook on the outside of my dress.

I'm likely going to go with a french bustle. I haven't met with my seamstress yet.
