What is your bad weather plan?

Joey, on October 25, 2017 at 08:08 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 8

Whether you think rain on your wedding day is good luck or bad luck, it's a real possibility that bad weather could make an appearance at your big day. What is your bad weather contingency plan? What will you do if it is super hot? Super cold? Super rainy? Don't let bad weather derail your day; even just buying a few umbrellas for the ushers to use to shelter your guests will help keep the stress of bad weather worries away. There's no need to obsess over the weather forecast in the days and weeks leading up to your wedding day if you're prepared!

Will you pass out blankets so guests can snuggle up? What is your bad weather plan? 1

Will you buy cute umbrellas to make sure you get those outdoor pics? What is your bad weather plan? 2

Or will you just embrace whatever weather comes your way? What is your bad weather plan? 3

I'm just putting all my energy into it that it won't rain. as my pictures are going to be outside.

We have a room saved for us for the day off just off of the courtyard in case of poopy weather as our wedding is supposed to be held outdoors. I think we will pick up some clear umbrellas from amazon in case it does rain so that we can get some cool outdoors pictures

Our ceremony and reception were both indoors. Our plan for rain during wedding photos was to go to the park anyways with a lot of umbrellas, take photos on a covered bridge and if the rain was super bad we were going to go to the reception hall because it was decorated and indoors. Luckily it only rained during the ceremony and then cleared right up!

Our backup plan was to do everything in the barn if any inclement weather happened.

Suck it up. Haha. Only thing that will really suck is if it's super windy.

We had a second location on standby in case it rained. Very happy we didn’t end up needing it!

It was supposed to rain all day on our wedding day but it amazingly held off! It was overcast and a little humid so it was perfect! We were both thrilled as we had picked this venue because of the beautiful ceremony location outdoors. The backup plan would have been to hold the ceremony in the reception room which is still cute but not what I wanted at all haha. I'm so glad it worked out. The next day there was a massive storm and extreme wind gusts and tons of people lost power. Thank God I didn't have a Sunday wedding lol

We experienced less than favourable weather on Sept. 24th. I planned for a nice fall day, but it ended up being 37 degrees!! We were going to get married at the gazebo on the golf club estate, but it was not shaded and simply too hot. We ended up having the ceremony on a covered patio just outside our reception room. It worked.
