What have you worked on this week? It has been a great week for us! So.much.mail. We are narrowing in on the small details, so that we aren't flustered or busy as the date approaches. Our wedding is August 25, 2018.

-Ordered, printed picked up our seating chart
-Ordered/received a cool rug for our ceremony
-Received Groomsmen ties in the mail (their gift)
-Received Bridesmaid bracelets in the mail (their gift)
-Remaining flowers arrived for decor
-Our fairy lights came in the mail (6 - 33 ft long strands)
-Last night we scoped out an art gallery that we are thinking of booking for our photos if it rains on our wedding day.

    This has been a lazy, lazy week for me. One of my best friends just got engaged so I’m too excited about that for planning atm!

    Wow, I did nothsing really. But in my defence, only the flowers need to be picked, which is something I am not in rush to do as the wedding is in July. Oh, and also playlist! But I can do that this week Smiley smile

    I just finished my mother's bouquet (I'm getting her to stand up with me.) Decided to use hers as a trial.

    Starting on mine tomorrow, and in about 2 weeks when I expect that to be done to my liking I'm going to get started on boutonnieres and corsages for family members.

    Right now I'm in Bridal Shower mode! So all week I've been doing stuff for my shower! Raffles, baskets, games, favours etc etc etc OMG! And I have more today and tomorrow before I meet a the the ladies Monday to go over last minute stuff! I'm in freak out mode a bit!

    This week I did nothing aha. Well not completely true. Scheduled a tentative date for our engagement photos. We have a lot
    of the big stuff out of the way already - we get married in October.
    - venue booked
    - DJ, photographer and officiant booked
    - dress bought
    - wedding bands bought
    - first stages of florals done (waiting on quote)
    - some decor items bought

    Save the dates and my FH picking out his suit will be next.

    I have most the big stuff done so it's all little things

    - Signed off on the final revision of our invites, now just waiting to get the hard copies

    - Purchased two little pieces of decor

    - Two bridesmaid dresses came in and I picked them up

    - Dress shopping with my FMIL tomorrow

    - Make up trial for my mum on Sunday

    It's been a slow week for us, but this weekend we are going to sit down and determine everything that still needs to be done/bought/planned/made.

    This week though we almost completely finished the wedding website. (And by we, I mean my fiance since that is his project!) It should be completed this weekend!

    Our fairy lights came in the mail.

    And, I dried rose petals from the roses my fiance bought me a couple weeks ago for the flower girl to use.

    Slow week for me. Super busy work week though. We sent out our invites on the weekend (email) so we are getting RSVP's in now. We are getting married April 21st. We are done most of the big stuff now, so it's moving into more of the smaller detail items to finish. Soon we'll be assembling our centre pieces and favours and printing out escort cards. That kind of stuff.

    Wow, that’s awesome! We’re actually getting married the same day!

    This week was was all about invitations for us. My best friend/maid of honour did a couple invitations for us to choose from, so we met with her and narrowed it down to the one we loved so she could start the RSVP cards/rest of the invitation goodies!

    Then we also just ordered the wedding party’s gifts!

    We had our menu tasting this week!

    We also started to look into booking our honeymoon! Now that part is exciting! Smiley smile

    Officially said yes to the venue (we go tomorrow to sign the contract and put down the deposit).

    Designed and ordered the invites.

    Picked up my wedding band.

    Tonight we pick the entrees for our buffet and the canapes for cocktail hour.

    Man I feel lazy- we did go over our revisions of our guest list and our seating plan, looked into a videographer and ring bearer accessories. A lot of my wedding planning is done already as we have a package deal with majority of our vendors included in it. but I always feel like I should be doing more... our wedding is September 1st
