Thank you Emilie! I tried it on after it came in to make sure it fits and it does. I have to get it altered a tiny bit at the front... I tried it on with shoes so it just needs to be hemmed a bit. Also I need to add a bustle so I will need a couple more fittings!

Thanks Em They called last night to tell me it was in So I get to go this week and try it on again!! I'll book an actual fitting then. I think the only thing left for my bridal look is a bracelet. And hopefully my necklace works with the dress or I'll be on the hunt for that again. I can't even wait to try everything on together!

I was the same way, if it was something just god awful I would say hell no! :p I got lucky and they all loved the same dress and it was the one I secretly wanted them to pick!

I'm letting my only "BM" choose what she wears- I get veto power if she picks something really horrible, but same idea as you- might as well be something she is comfortable with.

Lol well I figured it is them who have to wear the dresses, not me! So I wanted them to have a say in what they are wearing, and feel as comfortable as possible!

I wore a strapless as a 'maid for my sister- I couldn't keep my ladies contained while I danced- eck!

I am sure your team appriciated you taking their preferance into account!

3 of my 4 bridesmaids didn't want strapless dresses because they don't pull it off so well or don't have enough cleavage to hold the dress up LOL! And I can't wait to see those photos!!

So funny! I like the illusion necklines because I feel funny in strapless- every other bride seems to pull it off, and I just can't!

Thank you! The gold detailing was probably my favourite part of the dress! It just makes it look royal and elegant and that helped me with my colour scheme! We wanted the purple from the start and wanted it royal and elegant and I fell in love with that dress on me and I thought how perfect would it be to have a purple with gold accents colour scheme!

just to add my 2 cents- I love the gold detailing- I see fewer dresses with gold, so that really sets it apart (and matches your colour scheme I believe????)

That gold detailing is beautiful! And I know what you mean... I'm anxious for my dress to come in, but I have no idea what I'll do with it once it does! I have way too many pets to keep it in the house. I'll probably end up bringing it to my parents (after alterations), since I'm getting ready there anyways

I love that you like the tea-lenth dresses! Super pretty and I feel only certain people can full them off, and just from talking to you and learning more about you, I can see how this will suit you so well! You are definitely going to look amazing and I cannot wait to see your dress!!!!! Also I love illusion necklines! We actually almost pick bridesmaids dresses with illusion necklines but one of the girls looked uncomfortable in that type of dress!

Yes I do have mine! I will post pictures! I ordered mine in the off season so it came in really fast, but I have it at the store still as I am trying to find somewhere to store it because we have animals and I don't want it in the house for my FH to see! All my photos are from when I tried it on.

The waist instantly sold me

1- I love how happy you look in this picture! Really shows the "found the dress feeling"

2- I love the way the waist detail is shaped- very flattering and glimmery!

I'm a tea- length fanatic- I think body type, personality and venues/ theme make a big differece- but I have been planning everything around my desperate desire to have lacey short dress! The one you posted just needs an illusion neckline and I would be sold!

I do! I'm anxiously waiting for them to call me and tell me it's in (sound be next month sometime ) But this is from when I tried it on.
