What Day of the Week is your Wedding?

Hello Brides & Grooms.

What day of the week are you having your wedding? Did anything cause you to choose the specific date?

I know with costs that prices are usually cheaper during the week day and I find since the pandemic people have been opting for a week day wedding!

My wedding is on a Friday and I am so excited for it! Since we are doing a micro-wedding we were not able to book our wants on a Saturday which was fine. All of our friends and family that are coming already have their time off for the summer so no worries there!

    He picked the month and I knew I didn’t want it during Thanksgiving or my birthday lol plus it’s the night of the full moon!!

    We thought about maybe a Saturday, but decided to have our wedding on a Sunday! Our wedding is during a long weekend, so anyone that is traveling will still have the extra day!

    Tuesday November 5th 2024. Because it's "tradition" to always watch the movie V for Vendetta on November 5th...but the last 4 years we remind the other on November 4th that we have to watch it and then forget about it until the 6th....so this way we will never forget November the 5th....in theory.

    We wanted a weekend wedding, so we picked Saturday to make it easier for our out of town guests.

    We originally wanted October 14th but it wasn't available, they only had Saturday September 30th left so we took it.

    We are getting married on Sunday September 24th this year!! Our rehearsal party will be on the Friday, giving us a day in-between to relax and get ready for the big day!

    That is awesome! Nothing wrong with a good deal. And since everyone was already taking vacation to go to your wedding it did not matter what day of the week it is!

    Mostly like mine. Half of the people are coming from the East and they all had to book a week off anyways!

    We decided to have our wedding on a Friday late afternoon and picked a venue that was close to most of our guests to make it easier for them to get there in time for our ceremony

    We did a Saturday. I just felt it was the easiest for everyone. I would attend a weekday or Sunday wedding, it would just change things a bit in comparison to a Saturday wedding.

    My FH was adamant the wedding had to be on Saturday. It worked out better since all our guests are travelling from out of town anyways.

    We had our wedding on a Sunday! Every Saturday for last summer was booked. Our venue was going to give us a 1000 dollars off of we booked on a Sunday and luckily since we wanted to have to same weekend from the previous two years, that Sunday was available! So we took it!
