What colours are you using in your wedding decor?

Colour scheme is one of those weird topics for us because my fiance has protoanomoly colour blindness. Shades of red look brown and purples are hit and miss. Red and purple are my favorite colours so it could have been an tricky situation.

Luckily my fiance is super chill about the colour scheme and let me pick whatever. So we are going with black, silver, and pomegranate (which will look brownish to him). He likes neutrals so this will work out well. He told me that I could put him a in hot pink suit and he wouldn't know the difference 😂

Gold blush and mint. Mainly gold and blush

I’d like a slate blue/grey colour for the bridesmaids dresses, white flowers with greenery for all, white table linens with the same slate blue/grey accents. My wedding is still a ways away so nothing is finalized yet ☺️.

Rustic theme with aqua, white and browns/copper not too sure yet!

Mostly pastel pinks and lilac!

Shades of cool purples from light to dark, pale green, and silver.

That sounds really nice, good choice with the cream. I find the white kinda too bright for me personally. So I’d go with something like that or grey. I haven’t decided. some of the venue give us the white ones for free.. I’m like, huh I get their free but they might bug me lol! We’ll see I suppose, time will tell what I should do.

View quoted message The lanterns are actually from the venue. They are a restaurant during the week, and they said we could use them for the centerpieces. Here are a few more pictures of the venue We won't have chair covers and the linens will be cream.

I’m so excited for you!! I’m a year behind you so it’s fun to hear all this I’m addicted to checking off the boxes on my checklist when I can, I’m still at the beginning, I got my last venue to visit on Monday, which is my FH’s first choice. Then when we got that I’ll be able to check off some vendors! Lol I have only my photographer because she’s someone I grew up with.

Just last week we hit 17 out of 17 Vendors booked and wow that was so exciting! My Mom will call and say did you check off any boxes today??? Those checks make my day! I am finding that just this week after all vendors were booked, Rsvps started coming in, engagement shoot & makeup trial yesterday that the excitement level has come back! oh I missed it! Stress was winning and feeling this wonderful shift is incredible! My Mom and Dad were doing a test baking day for our cake. Our cake topper is on the way. It feels like all our tough jobs are what's behind us (knock on wood) and now I can't sleep because I am thinking about fun things like our Honeymoon and emotional things, especially thinking my dream of marrying the Man I Love is just around the corner!

To be completely honest, I love pink for everything however as soon as FH and I started looking at colors, he said as long as its nothing too "girly" like pink! I thought hmmm how can I make this happen. Blush sounds less "girly" to him than pink and I love every shade of pink so blush won! A tad sneaky lol I see a lot of Gold and blush on Pinterest but we prefer silver. My engagement ring is white gold and I wanted to choose what we liked. Our Guys are giving me grief about not wearing bow ties or any blush or pink at all. My FH will wear a white tie with silver flex and accessories. The Men are getting their way with silver accessories... except what they don't know and won't know until our Wedding Day! They will each be wearing a lovely blush boutonniere! Win, win 😉 I am waiting on a call from Tux store but for our Dads who have been bfs since they were 7 Years old, I'd like them in tails with blush bow ties and accessories! I have ordered all of our Guys black dress socks with Groom, Father of the bride, Father of the Groom, best Man, Usher, Groomsmen so I'm excited to see how sharp they all look! 🕶🤴

My favourites right now are Navy, Emerald, Burgundy, Gray and Gold. But We’ll see after I pick the venue! I love all colours so it’s hard to narrow down! They’re all beautiful lol

We’re doing pink,white and black for our colours

To try best described our wedding would be i ❤️U 2 the 🌒 ,very grand,our culture (native American) romantic, glamours, kinda theme ...alot of flowers and candles, lace .... If that helps😁 BM dresses are red, MOH dress is gold, mine is ivory, FH is red suit, GM are also red or beige not sure yet. Don't really have all the decor figured out or the flowers we have alot I mean alot of ideas tho Im having trouble invisioning with out any items in front of me .

Emerald green and gold! Then my florals are multicoloured. I noticed most people do white flowers with green dresses but I decided to do the opposite and add a bit more colour to the day!

We have selected plum, dark teal and silver/grey for our wedding colors. Very colorful for us. I love vibrant colors!!!

We are going with burgundy, blush cream and gold. These are the colours of my flowers (they will be dyed because they are wood). The gold lanterns will sit in the middle of the flowers. The venue has an old-world European style and has dark wood and burgundy chairs, so we're really trying to keep in theme with the venue.

Rose gold, dusty rose, green and champagne very girly but were having it in a barn with touches of camo through out

We're doing classic black and white with royal purple accents! I'm a knitter, so instead of getting a florist I'm knitting all the floral decorations and bouquets myself.

We are using blush, silver and silver glitter. I am really pleased with the way the colors go together. My Mom is wearing a lighter blush (with silver sparkle)than my Girls and my FMIL is liking silver dresses.
